1) Kirilenko
2) Millsap
id go with this if possible. get ready for some t-rob small ball!
1) Kirilenko
2) Millsap
I've always liked Kirilenko's game, but he'll turn 33 next year... and he just opted out of $10 million, so I'd guess he'd expect something like 3 years/24 mil at the very least. Would the Spurs be willing to do that?
Al Jefferson would be my #1 guy to sign. Sign Splitter to play off the bench for his defense(let's not forget that he helped shut down Gasol and Z-Bo in the WCF). A backup PG that can score and run the 2nd group would be nice as well. Maybe CoJo can improve his offensive game next season and run the 2nd group efficiency.
I'll take D12 but that's much to ask for, so give me Josh Smith and Corey Brewer resign Manu and let's role this is of course hoping Bayne is much improved, there might also be some stand out Summer Leaguer ala Neal a couple years ago
Kirilenko easily, he has the intangibles that many players don't have.
Throw pekovic in there is take him over the splitman
Anybody who thinks Tyreke ing Evans is an improvement to any team is an idiot. He's the guy who has gotten worse every single year he's been in the league. He's horrible. No way in the Spurs get near this cancer. He's a stooge, horrible shooter, horrible at ude, and literally gets worse from season to season.
1) Kirilenko/Millsap
2) Dunleavy/Webster
Outside from the players on the team...
1) Tyreke Evans
2) Kirilenko or Webster
3) Millsap or Jefferson
Josh Smith and Lionel Hollins tbh.
kirilenko or aminu, resign splitter and the rest is set. wouldn't mind a t-rob trade.
1) Manu
2) Casspi/Beaubois
3) Splitter
Tiago Splitter
T-Rob
Aminu
brandan wright
lets go with size!!
I do hope that's the case. We need somewhat proven player and so, Tiago>>>>Baynes
As for bigman, I prefer Millsap over Jefferson.
How about the available playmakers in the market that fits to the team's budget?
LMAO GTFO here.
1a. Tyreke Evans
1b. Trade for Thomas Robinson
2. Paul Millsap
3. Backup PG
1. AI
2. A center
3. Evans
do not want to sign:
1. Ginobili (his days are done (s of himself)
Is there enough mulah for these 3?
Its not that he sucks. Its that he doesn't make his teammates better, his ego doesnt fit in the att center and also, and I cant stress this enough, he is a giant ing baby. Nobody wants to change that diaper here.
I like the idea of sign and trade with Splitter. For anything really, just get something out of him. Don't see why PHX would trade big for big but I would be happy with that.
Pekovic, Casspi, Barbosa/Goudelock
I want both Splitter and Manu off the team and younger more explosive players on. Pop will not phase out Manu's responsibilities and Manu will still try to play like he always has( behind the back dribble, risky passes and fall away jump shots) because that is the only way he knows how to play. The only way to prevent Manu from hurting the Spurs is to get him off the team.
Manu's game is going to get uglier every year from here on out. Splitter is what he is and not going to improve.
I expect both to be back at a good cost.
1. Al Jefferson - Big guy puts us over the top.
2. Jarrett Jack - Won't happen bc he'll sign for more somewhere else, but I'd like it to.
3. Kyle Korver - I'm stuck between this and going the Corey Brewer route, but I think after last year Korver would be a lot cheaper and he's a better shooter so he'd be a better fit to replace Korver. He's a better defender than Neal (hard to believe.)
I'd like for us to resign Ginobili and Splitter, but if Splitter gets offered too much money and we have a shot at someone like Big Al, take him.
ironically neal played much better than manu in the finals
