The good news: I will never have to root for Dwight Howard.
The bad news: The Spurs aren't getting any other B-level free agents either.
I was hoping LAL would keep him and amnesty Gasol, so the spurs can bid on the guy. Seems unlikely they'd let him walk now. Oh well.

What a nice way to mortgage their future.
Oklahoma City has begun an aggressive pursuit of Philadelphia free-agent guard Dorell Wright, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Wright, 27, averaged 9.2 points in 72 games for the Sixers a season ago.
The Thunder are working to stay below the luxury tax threshold this season, searching for bargain contributors able to spread the floor and make shots. The return of Kevin Martin to the Thunder appears unlikely, unless the market for him dries up completely and he has to return at a far lower rate than he's trying to find, league sources said.

If Dwight wanted to win like he says he does, he should really consider GSW tbh...
Yeah but at the cost of losing Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes? Those two are great shooters. Howard needs shooters around him. "If Dwight wanted to win like he says he does," he should take a massive pay cut and play for the Warriors. On a serious note though, GSW should consider switching out David Lee for Klay Thompson as part of the deal. I mean DH12 can do everything that Lee does which is rebound.
Yeah well if he went to GSW a paycut is actually what he would have to take. Didn't include that in my comment but yeah...
Good 'ole Spurs standing pat....Love it. (blue text)
I don't usually say this but Bogut and Klay for Dwightmare would be going full re .
How is Dwight going to work in GSW's uptempo offense when he couldn't hack it under Dantoni?
I know, right? It's been almost 14 hours for crying out loud. If they haven't done anything by now, they're not going to.

What about Hammed Hoosurdaddy (Sp?). Dude got waived by Phoenix. Pick him up as Splitter's backup. That way we ensure that we are kept in mediocrity.
