According to a lot of people on this site he's a pick n roll wiz, he has great defense and will somehow develop an offensive game.
Really? It seems teams with cap space sign a FA and say 'you either S&T him to us, or we just sign him using our cap space". It seems like GS reached out to LAL first with a deal before doing anything to Dwight.

Neal's game 3 performance was more clutch than Green who statpadded at the end of the blowout.
Also hit many buzzer beaters in the regular season.
It's very likely not. Manu is the only important question mark.
Yeah that's the best part, he's somehow gonna develop into a beast.
Neal is a weapon, there's no doubt about that, but he's a weapon on a minimum (or close to it) salary. When you start talking about $2-$4 million for Neal, it starts to become a luxury that isn't totally necessary. I'd love to have the guy back, but not at the expense of signing a difference maker. Kirilenko qualifies.
If tiago and Bonner are earning that amount then Manu will get an over paid amount and people will complain about that amount instead.
I'd take Neal, Robin Lopez on a 5M/year deal and AK47...
Pop and his "meritocracy"
What a joke
Rewarding the scrubs for coming up short![]()
I haven't seen anyone say that Tiago is going to develop into a beast, tbh.
So Neal's shot was better than Green's tying three in Game 1 of the WCSF? Or his three at the end of Game 1 of the Finals?
Neal's not clutch; he's a chucker. He's never met a shot he didn't like, and that includes those in end-of-game situations. It's not like he's extraordinarily good at hitting those, though.
And outside of the Clippers game during the 2012 RRT, I can't think of a signal regular-season clutch shot he's made.
Man okc lost kmart ?! The harden trade just gets better for them
Dude saying that Neal isn't clutch is the dumbest thing I've read on Spurstalk and I like you.
What Neal brings offensively is not enough to make up for what he lacks defensively. Especially in the playoffs when the intensity is very high.
Don't bother. He's one of the people who discounts Splitter's regular season, but will count one shot against the Clippers for Neal.
It starts off with mutual interest. A team offers a player a deal, and that player agrees to play there. Then they go to the original team and propose a sign-and-trade. If it's good enough for the original team, it goes through. Teams with cap space don't really have any leverage other than that they can give a full TE. They can't force the player to sign with them just because they have the cap space to ink him outright.
Is this true?

Wolves have to renounce Kirilenko to sign Kevin Martin. Not a fan of that sequence of events.
That sweeping Hook of Doom will be on posters everywhere.
That doesn't make any difference. They'd have to renounce Pekovic, and they're not doing that.
Does Kirilenko have a cap hold right now? Why doesn't it make sense? It's all over twitter.
I think you're a good poster when not talking about Splitter. But Neal isn't clutch. I can't name five big shots the guy's hit over three years. Green had that many the past season alone.
