Spurs interested in K-Mart. At the vet minimum I assume.
If Tyreke goes to New Orleans, does that make Greivis Vazquez available? Slow but an underrated player.
I don't understand posting tweets from random no-names who have no sources, break no news, and have nothing to add to the ST conversation that wasn't first broken down at length by the posters here already.
That, and tweets from supposed NBA experts who don't understand the basic elements of the CBA.
That's been getting to me all week. Just because these people report on basketball (and I use the term "report" liberally here), doesn't make them experts on the CBA or on capology. In fact, the seem to have a very loose understanding of it.
It's one thing to post tweets when someone breaks a deal. But it's so pointless to post their speculation.
Unless Wojo is announcing it then it's just speculation. Everytime I see Spurs linked with anyone I dismiss it, not happening.
Even if they wanted to pay him that much, they wouldn't need to use the MLE, right? Spurs should have Bird rights.
Sources say RC Buford was in the same room when someone mentioned Antawn Jamison's name in passing.
Smart move, the well was drying up.
Good. I didn't want any part of Korver.
FOR S SAKE. Now I am ing mad. I was mad after game 6 and now these free agent signings, or lack thereof, have pissed me off even more. Couldn't Splitter and Manu have taken a slightly higher discount to open up 8 million or so to sign someone else? Would this have been possible if they both took a million less Bruno? Considering they ed up in the finals, I would have thought this would be the decent thing to do.
They better ing bring it next season and make up for their piss poor finals.
ATL locking up Korver theoretically takes away one more more Kirilenko suitor from the pool.
But if Korver can get 6/year, I'd imagine AK's asking price to be around 8-9 million a year.
That's pretty reasonable, Korver didn't see anyone else offering that deal or for the number of years.
Hey, if Bismack has enough mobility, he Zeller and Jefferson could be a pretty solid rotation.
Big Al's getting $15 Million+ a year, and people are upset at Splitter getting $9 Million?
I think this was pretty much a given, but:
$15 mil per for Jefferson is funny. Makes Splitter look like a bargain tbh.
