He played really well for Arsenal, a small team from Argentina that has had some nice seasons in recent years. What impreses me more about Benedetto is his ability to create something out of nothing (Arsenal is known for defending well with a lot of guys and attacking with very few leaving the strikers with little support, yet he could still create chances fighting for divided balls against 2 or 3 guys and/or intelligent movements to find open spaces).

He's a banger, don't expect a lot of magic or subtleties. If he adapts to Mexico he could be a good signing.

That's the big question with a lot of foreigners that come to Mexico. They may be very good in other leagues but in the Mexican league they fail to adapt. Yet, if he is player that likes to grind it out, then the chances of him having success are pretty good.

Obviously coming off the bench didn't suit him well. Mina could find himself with more playing time if Benitez leaves.

meh. B squad, think the US is also taking a B squad. If anything it will be good just for players like Marco Fabian, Chaton, Raul Jimenez, etc to get in form so they can finally get rid of the tired old bags on the senior team.(torrado, maza, sal o, etc.)
