I thought Vick only got in trouble for the gambling and making profits from the dog fighting, not the actual dog fighting. And seriously, people need to get over the Michael Vick thing. He went and did time in a federal prison. Get over it.

9-year old Trayvon Martin was on his way home from choir practice and delivering hot meals to the elderly.
Trayvon stopped to hold umbrellas for a Girl Scout Troop which was raising money for quadriplegic AIDS victims in Africa. After he helped the Girl Scouts, he then delivered 10 Golden Retriever puppies which were breach birth.
Trayvon was helping an elderly veteran across the street while carrying a puppy home to his sister who was on her deathbed with just hours to live. He'd also picked her her favorite skittles candy and a bottle of iced tea.
That's when George Zimmerman pulled up in his Hummer, on his way home from a White Hispanic KKK meeting. High on meth and shouting racist slogans, GZ saw TM and opened up with his twin roof-mounted 50 caliber machine guns and shot Trayvon in the chest for being a black kid in a white neighborhood. Zimmerman is now a Detective on the Sanford Police Department.
Would black people still riot about this if they were forced to listen to Three Days Grace "Riot" while rioting?

If you havent seen this, its worth a watch. Of course Zimmerman may be lying, but it explains what happened that night. It sounds like Trayvon went a little overboard and ended up getting his ass killed.
Something tells me he will have a lot more opportunities to stand his ground and from the looks of it about 100 lbs more of ground than before.

Zimmerman is about to get paid. CNN posted the police report with his address and social security number on tv.
I think under Florida law it's the right verdict tbh. After the police decided to not investigate at all (largely because of daddeh Zimmerman being a judge) and let Zimmerman go the case was as good as closed and the prosecution didn't have a leg to stand on.

Even Trayvon Martin's parents said no matter what the verdict is America should move on and not react with protests.

1. Hipsters (naturally)
2. Fat guys who look like Zimmerman (posturing to avoid getting shanked)
