If Bruno Mars doesn't overcook the song with overly high-pitched vocals, he could probably pull off a successful remake of PYT.
I've covered both of those tunes....and the band I did it with wanted the covers to be really authentic so, I had to spend alot of time with the sequencer tracking the strings and horn parts to Rock With Me. That's a pretty complex tune that comes off as if it were a really simple song. Genius songwriting.
And the video had badass lasers.

FWIW Teysha, I didn't think that it was great, but it had the seeds to be good. All you can ask from such a recording.
