The difference between Pat Riley and R.C. Buford is one isa pursuer and the other is a surveyor. I'm pretty sure Miller was released to make way for Mo Williams. He would have been a better option off the bench than Gary Neal for the Spurs. He's pretty much a low risk, high reward signing.
If Mo Williams has any brain cells at all, then would realize that the Spurs are a better fit for him than the Heat. The Heat already set at the PG spot. Spurs have been looking for a backup PG to Tony Parker for the longest time and CoJo is still a project. I agree. Mo Williams would be a perfect replacement to Gary Neal.

Just like Artest considered retirement or China. Classic ploy to scare crappy teams away from claiming off waivers. I bet he ends up in NY or LA.
Agreed. Mike Miller could shoot threes falling back into his hospital bed.

To be fair, he has stated he was considering back surgery last season.

I was thinking that the minimum for Oden would be ~$1.2M-1.4M, but even if it is closer to $1M I don't see a financially set person choosing a perennial lottery team like the the Pelicans over either of the teams from this past year's Finals ~$1.5M. Obviously I could be wrong, but that's just my take.
I think it would be less than $1.1 (he was under contract 5 seasons). I'm not sure how it works because he hasn't played in 3 seasons, in terms of figuring out his years of service.

That play summarized Neal's concept of defense, tbh
I'm going to miss yelling "what the are you doing?!" at the tv.

He helps of literally every player he guards. Duncan could be defending Joell Anthony late in the shot clock and Neal will help leaving Allen or who every open for a 3.

He gets credit for every year he was on an NBA roster for at least one day.

He has gotten better over last couple years. Good signing for them, damn I don't like when these dudes go to our compe ion. One thing we have that's been the most effective thing over any team is the SYSTEM, I believe in it. they could put me out there and ill shine in the system it's that great.

Considering that they're pretty close to the lux tax, I'd say they would be interested in a S&T for Blair. But, the only trade that seem to work on paper is Blair (S&T) for Gerald Green. He is ubber athletic, has great size but offers nothing else. Low BBIQ, not great defensively and not a great shooter. Not Spurs material imo.

It would be really hard to make a Blair-for-Green swap. Blair would need to get $4.5 Million in his first year to make salaries match.

Why's that Chino? Green makes 3.5m/year.
