Yup, I'm really looking forward to this next season, especially if we can get Oden and he remain injury free.
Lol.
some truth to that. Parker got away with a lot on that final shot. I remember feeling less confident throughout game 6 because it was obvious Duncan and Kawhi were the only ones still remaining. Parker was disappearing per par, Manu was imploding ....
whats sad is we truly faced the best, and we simply didn't have enough to put them away. The Heat are so loaded, willing to go over the cap to keep all that talent, and we almost pulled off the upset. if we would've played anyone else from the east we would've blown them out, but unfortunately Heat are too loaded compared to everyone else.
however, if Heat make it back to Finals, that will be 4 Finals in a row, and I can't imagine them being as sharp. , the wheels were starting to come off of them in this series.
It's been a month! Get over it!
And if you hate our GM, I don't know what else you could ask for.
I've done it with a few teams, but seriously -- compare the Spurs' draft history over the past 15 years with any other team in the NBA.
It's no contest.
Add to that the teams fielded while staying under the tax every season but one, damn.
So I think you have a wrong interpretation, cause if that true there is no meanings for the words, in my case you can't use those words in bad connotation, I'm not coming from those places, I'm really hurt big time but I'm not those determinations
I can use those words in any connotation that fits.
This one fits.
So you have very small perspective and understanding.
at those still having meltdowns even a month since then
But yeah, I'll join you guys when Duncan retires not winning another championship.
lol Sorry, but I just have to laugh.
Hey, maybe that is why he is posting .................. as comic relief!
If that happens, then you'll remember me.
On the contrary, you're being very emo about being called emo tbh.
at those who act too cool to school and trying to refuse facing the true, if you a true fan, this is a disaster you can't recover or move on from.
Don't worry, I won't
Geeez, I don't know which is worse the crying sniveling of kobyz, or your baseless broken record accusations and whining name calling.
Both of you have become quite irritating! All anyone can do is laugh at your takes because your posts are just plain too ridiculous to be taken seriously.
So are you just going to die over this?
Meltdown, a month and counting
Or maybe you can't accept telling you that you wrong.
Chump, that is just too too funny, in a morbid sort of way, but morbidity can be quite funny too sometimes!
Me right.
So are you going to die over this?
Every member of the team played well enough for the Spurs to win; it's just that everyone else didn't.
That about sums up what happened.
Duncan had great numbers the last two games, but he missed the two most-important shots. Leonard showed up offensively in Game 7 and had been solid there and great defensively for the whole series, but his missed free throw led to the Heat having a chance. Green set a record for threes in the Finals, but he missed a shot that could have tied it in Game 7. Parker played heroically to bring the Spurs back in Game 6, but his selfish play in overtime led to the team blowing two great chances to take the lead. Ginobili's game 5 should have been enough to win the series, but his Game 6 got in the way. Splitter took Bosh out of the series offensively and made the Heat the Big Two. But he couldn't score enough.
They lost as a team. If any one of those players had had just a little bit more in the tank, the Spurs win. But they didn't, and to pretend like everyone let down Duncan when the person who let him down the most was himself completely misses the point.
One thing is for sure I'm gonna be in grief the rest of my life.
I've been saying this same thing the whole time, but some on here, I guess they are trolling, keep harping on it's only Manu and Pops fault, or it's the "end of the world". Either they went into the twilight zone and saw different games than we did, or they are seriously mentally deficient, or they are trolls. That's about the only thing you can infer from their "nutty" posts.
I don't mean to sound like a broken record but here's another way to put things in perspective: You can spread the blame all you want but the fact is that Pop and Manu shat the bed. They pulled the biggest choke job in NBA history. They lost as a team. If any one of those players had had just a little bit more in the tank, the Spurs win. But they didn't, and to pretend like everyone let down Duncan when the person who let him down the most was himself completely misses the point.
