I knew Florida would own Iowa so I switched over to it like once and saw that they were so I changed it back to another game.

there was a horrible penalty call (or so it really appeared). iowa was within seven after a quick score. they recovered the onside kick. but then came the flag. the few tv replays seemed to show that they correctly recovered it. i know that penalties cannot be reviewed, but you would think in this case it would be in the best interest to review it...

Dude, if the teams were switched around and Nebraska was the one that got screwed, you would be just as pissed as Mich fans.

Nope...Been down that road...check PSU 1982...McCloskey "PHANTOM CATCH" in our only loss that yr. Check the 1994 Orange Bowl...The NON Call Pass Interference that would have been OUR first of three straight (so no one would be yapping about the CaliCondoms). But, we got over it...

The best thing is...youi still have time to get over it. Both teams had too many men on the field. The beauty in the play would have been if the Wolverines ALL knew to keep their @$$#$ on the sidelines, and run and BLOCK like they should have. Dude got tackled. Dude did not Score. No one took anything away from Michigan. I have a pic to show that Michigan had guys on the field with helmets off during the run back as well, just not as many as Nebraska. Offsetting penalties where the OFFENSE is implicated means NO PLAY if time expires in the half or at the end of the game.

    SCOREBOARD stands as posted...

If you would like to see the Photo, I will email it to you. My wife took it, also thinking the game was over like the Nebraska and Michigan Players who went onto the field, while we sat behind the victorious team's band. That evidence is conclusive, by the way. Those damn Japanese can take some great photos!!!!!

it sucks, but it isn't the end of my world. i just don't like how it seems to me that the purpose of instant replay is to check crucial plays... and what could have been more crucial than this? but i don't think there will ever be a foolproof system so we just have to live with the fact that people make mistakes and most of the time they even out.

Sometimes, NO CALLS suffice as well... reference basketball...

Everything always evens out in the end.

in the case of the michigan/nebraska game, i am not mad that a flag wasn't thrown. it wouldn't have done anything. that was as close as michigan was getting on a play like that.

the flag in the iowa/florida game shouldn't have been thrown. but if they did start to review everything the games would be horrible. it just seems that something with such a slim margin of error like an onside kick that they would allow for instant replay if you're already using it in other aspects of the game.

I am not talking about the last play. I am talking about Mich's second to last possestion. In the red zone, 4th down, they throw a pass that gets knocked down by an OBVIOUS pass int. that didnt get called. It should have been first and goal Mich ball.

Like I said, been there, done that...in HUGE games, not the MoFo Bowl. I agree that it was Def PI on that play, BUT...MECHICKEN PLAYED LIKE @$$ in that game. They should have EASILY covered the spread that I bet against, let alone win.

    GOOOO BIGGGG REDDDDDD!!!!!!!
