That's a good pic for Thread. Funny stuff. So did you say you have a medical degree? I thought you were like a manager of a club or a MMA center or some .
Technically a 3rd year (md/ph.d)...i hear your pain, tbh.

Planning on specializing in anything?
Assisting Tim in extracting all the s from Jim Dunan's pooper.
Without getting to into my life story I was always in love with medicine but was a little intimidated by the 4 year journey, I delayed going to medical school and was making good money managing a Hollywood night club for a few years. The highs were high, but the lows were low. I was never a fan of drugs and all that and if you aren't the lifestyle was odd. Often felt like Robert Deniro's character from the movie Casino, surrounded by degenerates.
The medical field is much more rewarding, though the money takes time to roll in. As far as MMA and boxing go, I was an amateur boxer at Wild Card Boxing from around 15-20. I actually was blessed to go to that gym and sparred with a few legends who took it easy on me just to get some rounds in.
The problem with boxing gyms were that it's purely just punching, so as I got older I became more interested in ground game as well as striking. MMA is much more rewarding if you're training to stay in shape and master self defense, but again it depends on what you're looking to do. I saw plenty of guys come to Wild Card and spar and get their faces bashed in. I have yet to see anything serious happen at MMA gyms except for a few mild KO's.
Planned on going Psychiatry initially but things change tbh. It's weird how the dynamic changes looking in from the outside to where it goes when your inside looking out...I'd imagine you're miserable from your loans?
My life sounds much cooler than it actually is btw, it's easy to make your life sound interesting when you sum it up in 1 paragraph. Aside from all that, the loans are intimidating at first. Especially because of this economy, nobody is making the money they deserve. I'm paying a little over $3 k a month for my loans, I'm signed up for the loan forgivness program. After 10 years of student loans, you are exempt from having to pay again.
I know it will be worth it for sure, and the amount of attention you get from females for being a doctor is well worth it too. But it's an investment like anything else and takes time. Becareful not to knock any females up though, I'm serious about this, saw it all the time from my friends where they got themselves into a marriage for the wrong reasons.
I think that's the way I'd sum up my experience, lots of book smart people but not very street smart.
definetly sounds better than what I got going on, but props nonetheless. Like my Rogue preaches, I'm grateful to not be tied down by certain entanglements.
My biggest regret was when I started med school and saw that chain reaction from females, I had a gf at the time. She was very attractive, successful girl herself but the amount of females coming after you is pretty surprising. All you must have is a minimal amount of social intelligence (things I learned from my management days) and are becoming a doctor, ATTRACTIVE girls will coincedentally start texting you and messaging you asking about how they have a question for you. Then you get the girls who hear about you and add you on Facebook, family members who say their daughter or niece is single. It gets to your head a bit, I think the guys who had no social intelligence pretty much missed all those experiences and were tied down to 1 girl and got married by 26-28.
Going into the whole thing I always thought I was in it to help people deep down tbh...I'm not doing it for that or the money. I love research. My gf and family hate that I do but I don't give a tbh
You're also a chicken
I also got es flirting with me during undergraduate years but no way in would I ever sacrifice my dreams for the purpose of conforming to a "normal" style of life, I vowed that to myself. My cousins all got married before the age of 30 who're all "seemingly" living happy lives with their spouses and kids, at least their marriages all seem happy enough to my parents so they want me to follow that way, but I aint gonna comply this time. Jennifer Lawrence's parents used to discourage their daughter from pursing an acting career, but Lawrence insisted and succeeded. You don't need to always listen to your parents, which's the lesson to learn from Jennifer Lawrence imho
I'm not going to engage you this evening, Hec. It's Friday evening and I'm at peace. You're upset, keenly so. Go lay down, yes, you'll wake up and it will be right there, trust me, but, you need some sleep.
Night, night.
But you still will be a chicken
So you admit it, Dale - you're chicken PERIOD
You're getting a lot of stuff wrong here rogue. I never made a bet with anyone in order to stay and never welshed with anyone on any bet here in general. Check your facts.
