This Is The End - 8/10
Two different people directed those movies.
This Is The End - 8/10
rofl so you're one of those assholes who asks for his money back after sitting and watching a movie for an hour before walking out? no surprise.
Only god forgives. 6.5/10
Weird ending.
A friend told me it's nearly as good as "Drive", but it wasn't. Not the same ballpark, not the same league, not the same ing sport.
We walked into the near empty lobby whereupon the mngr asked us how we liked it.
When we said it sucked, she volunteered to comp us.
Even if we, or anyone else in similiar sitch would have asked to be comped, so what?
Man of Steel has made 280 million and counting
Butthurt Monoslob standing up for protection of Hollywood profits.
time you could have spent making up another profile
A good day to Die Hard - 3/10
Just stop making Die Hard movies please.
I agree. It was a decent movie all things considered but did not have the overall engaging character qualities that Drive had.
Dredd 7/10
Evil Dead (2013) 7/10
Turbo 5.5/10
It's alright.
Bascially a compialation of some previous animateds. Borrows a lot from Cars, other Annies.
I have no problem with the borrowing, just it was kind of so so blah. Started to get good lots of times but then always went back into blah mode.
Big time bee eeeaner sterotype of one of the main characters.

We Were Here - 9/10. Amazing do entary about first-hand accounts of living through the AIDS epidemic in 1980's San Francisco. All the stories were morbidly fascinating, but one of the dudes in particular lost every friend he had. It's available for streaming on NF
That's my boy. I enjoyed it. Vanilla Ice was funny. Hopefully they make a sequel. God bless
The wolverine - 7/10
Broken City - 7/10
Olympus Has Fallen - 7/10
Good action movies.
"The Rapture" from 1991. This is at times a disturbing motion picture as a child (her daughter) is "given to God" as an act of faith & belief. But, it is also fascinating as the end of times does indeed take place and is depicted in a small but intriguing manner. It stars Mimi Rogers, at prime. She was so hot then. I God's. And David Duchovny. I've seen it twice (in the far past) and saw it in the listings yesterday so I DVR'ed it. It's waiting and I'm going to watch it again sometime today if I can screw up the snut.
Yeah, even on the previews it looks like a mix of Cars + Ratatouille, so I'll wait for redbox or even cartoon network.
Same goes for Planes
1900 - 8/10. Easily the longest film I've ever seen...317 min.
Pacific Rim - 5.5/10... was fun. Seemed like Del Toro knew what he was filming and poked fun at the genre at times with over the top, generic moments and characters... in a similar but more subtle way than Cabin in the Woods did with its horror genre. It felt like a live-action anime. Visuals and designs were pretty spectacular. It was a huge relief to see an action movie that understood what it was after the stain that Man of Steel left behind.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation: 7/10
Pacific Rim- 7/10. It is what it is. Fun summertime pop corn flick. Shouldnt be taking too serious.
The Conjuring- 8/10. Of course the media and commercials have overhyped it, but it is a good horror/suspense film. More old school feel than the "torture porn" era of Hostel and Saw.
In Time 4.2/5
Fruitvale Station - 9/10. The acting was great and it felt like I was watching a do entary. Pretty tragic.
The Way Way Back - 8.5/10. Great summer movie. It probably appeals more to the younger crowd like me, but I think it's a movie with a lot of charm. Sam Rockwell is gold in this.
Jumping the Broom 6.5/10
Basically a black version of Meet the Parents but with my girl Paula Patton
2 Guns;
6 or 7 / 10
Ok popcorn movie - extra point for the Paula Patton gratuitous breastasses shot - the breastasses are just ok - but her body is absolutely incredible - if that was really her - probably a stand in - as it was flawless....
oh yeah - the movie...
Not a bad cop buddy/smash up/heist/action/popcorn movie.
In the upcoming trailers/previews - there were 2 or 3 very interesting films coming soon;
1) American Hustle (With Jennifer Lawrence, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper)
2) Bad Grandpa (trailer was lol funny)
3) The Counselor
Revenge of the Pink Panther. 3 out of 10. Boring and out dated. God bless
