Not only does no one turn down LA because of that, no one could turn down LA after having a franchise that is so might, court you the way they did Dwight. No player of D12's stature has EVER turned down a guaranteed 30 million dollars. This cannot be overstated enough.

There are absolutely no guarantees that Dwight will get a chance to sign another max contract. There are a myriad of things that could happen to a player that takes a beating nightly the way he does. You simply don't roll the dice on $30 million.
