"Fredo, you're my brother and I love you. But don't ever take sides against the family again. Ever"
By the way, I've always thought Brando's performance in Godfather was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy overrated
Pacino owned that
^ None better than Spurfan performance during 6.
The negro in the black hat deserves an Oscar.

I know the characters weren't blood but I've come to think that it's less a Michael/Fredo relationship and more like George and Lenny from Of Mice and Men. Jimmy means well and he tries real hard but just can't understand the kind of power he has. As such he can never learn to wield it responsibly, making him just as dangerous to the people around him as they could be to him. Either way words don't amount to much. The Lakers are in trouble until someone takes the final step that Michael and George were willing to take.
Jeannie…I've always taken care of you, Fredo…
Fredo…Taken care of me? You're my kid sister and you take care of me? Did you ever think about that? I'm your older brother, Jeannie, and I was stepped over!
Jeannie…That's the way Pop wanted it...
Fredo…It ain't the way I wanted it! I can handle things! I'm smart! Not like everybody says... like dumb... I'm smart and I want respect!
