My personal favorite is the caterpillar roll, tbh. It's always the most expensive roll wherever I go tho.

Oh, and hot dogs. I'm not touching that tube of entails ever again. I always try KFC and BK once every couple of years then realize I probably gave myself cancer, so I'm with DoK on that one.

When I was a kid, lumpy cream of wheat made me gag for some reason
, how did I forget Burger King? By far the worst fast food burger out there, which is really saying something as long as McDonalds and Wendy's exist. And yeah, ketchup sucks. While we're on condiments, brown deli mus too. Love yellow mus , but that y deli tastes like I just squeezed a tube of wood glue on my sandwich.

I'll eat KFC on a cheat day once every few months and don't regret it at all, tbh, so good..

The food I regret eating the most is donuts, tbh..so good while eating it, but feel ty immediately after finishing IMO..
truth, the easiest breakfast is stopping by the gas station for donuts and coffee. Whenever I used to do that it was a very unproductive morning afterwards.

Does that cheat day stuff really work? It's always seemed like bull to me tbh.
tbh donuts are probably the worst food i get cravings for, meaning i'll really want a donut but i don't think i've eaten one and thought "wow that's a good donut" instead i'm thinking "that was nowhere near as good as it looked".

Reminds me of Louis CK's cinnabon bit tbh:

A used to live on popcorn chicken & fries supreme in early undergrad. I'm not sure how I'm here today, tbh.

I'm happy Krispy Kreme bit the bust for the most part in Canada. Tim Hortons was bad enough when I had it every morning - KK is straight beetus.

Calimari's very hit or miss. The nicer restaurants do it right, while the chain joints make vulcanized rubber.

Speaking of which, any cities you would recommend going on the east coast for oysters? I love that but only had good ones once here in Toronto. I'll probably do some travelling in the late fall.

You can get good oysters in baltimore, or pretty much any seafood. The whole inner harbor smells like one giant delicious crabcake. Heavenly bliss for seafood lovers. Don't stray too far from the inner harbor though unless u want some heroin

Works for me, tbh..eating healthy all the time is easy, but it takes a toll on me mentally, I need an occasional meal of pizza/chicken n waffles/ribs, etc..

There are many idiots that think "cheat day" means OD'ing on ty food all day and negating most of their progress, though..

I don't generally think of myself as a picky eater, because I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to flavors and different types of cuisine, but whenever I answer a question like this I'm forced to realized there's a pretty long list of foods I won't eat. Or won't eat certain ways.

I don't eat mushrooms, for one. The texture is too spongy and they taste like dirt. And the only s fish that hasn't completely grossed me out is abalone (which is pretty rockin'), so I've given up even trying it anymore. Also, I really can't stand vinegar, the taste or smell, which eliminates a pretty huge amount of foods for me including mus , pickles, anything that has been pickled, most hot sauces and dressings, green olives, etc. And I have a problem with anything that has a really acidic taste, like fresh tomatoes and peppers, but I think that may be tied to my very mild allergy to citric acid. Lastly, there are a ton of foods (onions, peppers, celery, and other similar foods) that I love as a flavor and love to cook with but that I can't stand to actually eat. I'm good with onions and celery when they've cooked long enough (or are cut small enough) to just disappear into soups or sauces, but if I bite into a big, crunchy, still recognizable piece of onion or something, I'm not happy at all.

Oh, and I can't stand dried fruits. That has more to do with texture than flavor, though. And the fact they make me kind of sad. All the potential of a fresh, juicy, perfectly ripe apricot or grape or plum or whatever else turned into overly sweet leather. Sad.

Thankfully, all the stuff I hate the most is pretty easy to avoid. My pickiness mostly applies to condiments or things that I would have to really go out of my way to eat. And a lot of the stuff you all have mentioned just seems crazy to me. I eat almost all fruits and vegetables, and in the case of the latter usually prefer them to be as raw and as undressed as possible. And I’ve yet to meet a legume I don’t love, so I’ll happily eat up all the lima beans and green peas and edamame and green beans that are being ignored.

I used to like sushi. I just eat sashimi now, maybe nigiri sushi. It's not because of a trend. It's something I crave. It doesn't leave a taste, it doesn't leave me full, no ball of grease in my stomach, it causes no burping or any negative effects. It's just good and clean and if it's the right fish, it's like cotton candy.

It took some time to get over the concept of eating a raw fish, but now I can eat it right on the boat (not recommended if you haven't ice bathed it yet).

I cannot eat cottage cheese, butter, yogurt, buttermilk, escargot, duck, or hominy. I like grits, but not hominy. Odd I know.

I cannot eat that ham that has cheese pressed into it.

I cannot eat chicken liver, or any animals' internal organs or caviar.

    I cannot eat oysters

    No Indian food

Plus you're getting ty product. You need it fresh. Go to a sushi bar, the busiest you can find, and sit at the bar itself. That way you don't wait for some waitress to bring it around. You get some freebies as trials as well, and you'll spend more but you'll not regret it. Busier is better, fresh fish. those "we also have sushi" places. They repackage that and sell it tomorrow. When you get your tuna and it has 4 lemon slices on it, send it back.
