He played 21 minutes in the Final. He was a key contributor.
You're probably clueless about international basketball and don't realize they play 10-minute quarters, so NANDO played a MAJORITY of the game (52.5%, to be exact).
he played when the game was already decided with the rest of the spurs scrubs. Did not play in any key minutes whatsoever. International ball is different and even then parker was the mvp for france, so as i said earlier, he still gonna leave that bench toasty for the starters

Nando's at ude sucked towards the end of the season. That is one of the things that made me dislike him and not have much confidence in him. I felt he got a decent chance, but didn't make much of it. I think he got a better chance than what Pop usually gives some players, his play was average and his at ude stunk on top of that, you're just not going to get anywhere taking that approach.
He really needs a reality check, because IMO, he is living someone else's dream. I'm not even sure that he should even be on the team, or even in the NBA at all. There are probably a lot of players out there that work harder than him and are not able to make it onto an NBA team, yet Nando was given a pretty good chance and he doesn't seem to recognize that. I wasn't happy with his whining at the end of last season, that didn't help the team at all, so not sure what he was trying to accomplish there. The other main issue is - How hard did he work? Do you guys think that he worked hard in practice and worked hard on improving his game? Based on him not wanting to go down to the D-League and play for the Toros, I don't think that he worked as hard as he should have.
