True...Perez isn't phenomenal, but with Feliz, Ross, Scheppers...we'll be fine.
Price has an ERA over 10 pitching in Rangers ballpark. If Perez can avoid the power righties Longoria and Zobrist he will have a great chance at fending off that offense.
True...Perez isn't phenomenal, but with Feliz, Ross, Scheppers...we'll be fine.
If Feliz sees any meaningful time as a relievee then Washington should be fired on the spot. The bullpen's exceptional without him.
Gonna be tough. Price is gonna be tough to beat, regardless of the history of his ERA at Rangers ballpark. No Darvish for this game or for Tuesday's game either if they make it there...
I agree, Feliz should only be used in garbage time with a big lead. Cotts and Soria have been reliable as well. Wouldn't be surprised to see Wash bring in Garza on 3 days rest either. It's all hands on deck at this point.
I know MLB wants to make money but I hate that this game is going to be on TBS. TBS hates the Rangers. Besides, how often do the Rangers get shown on TBS? I'd rather it be a local broadcast on FSSW.
I'm with you on this one...
With a chance to get back in the postseason for the fourth year in a row, they will get back Nelson Cruz. The All-Star slugger on Sunday completed his 50-game suspension that followed Major League Baseball's investigation of the Biogenesis anti-aging clinic, which was accused of distributing banned performance-enhancing drugs.

How quick of a hook on Perez would y'all have if you were coaching the Rangers today?
I think both managers should pull their starters ASAP if they are cracking up.
If Perez gave up more than 8 hits and/or 4 runs I would yank him. It also depends if he's getting ahead in the count and locating his breaking balls. Perez is an innings eater but he's also a rookie so you never know what you're going to get with each start.
Perez was one of the most pleasant surprises of this season, but he can be inconsistent.

8 hits and/or 4 runs (earned of course)? I hope he has gone at least 5 innings or / Texas bats are racking up the runs.
3 runs thru 5 is max i am giving either one as manager. This is loser out. Can't think about what-ifs for the upcoming series.
Perez already in a jam...
Bad jam but way to get out of it only giving up one run.
Price isn't gonna be lit up tonight. If the Rangers give up 3 or more runs tonight they'll lose.
Wasted lead-off double smh
Welp, there it is...
Is everyone on this team limping?
Some real bad calls by the home plate ump tonight.
