Not exactly a fair comparison, all things considered. If Morey would have filled the cap up with decent role players like GS did, the Rockets would be right there with them (who was 1-3 vs HOU this year btw). Luckily, we have bigger aspirations than being a tough 2nd round out year-in year-out. Dwight going to the Warriors means they have to give up crucial pieces to their recent success. Dwight to the Rockets is a simple addition.
If gallo and Farried are healthy going into the playoffs, no one is even mentioning GS anyways.

It's not like the rumored deals will be done all at once as soon as the free agency starts, s are still mulling over options and will probably not make decisions until september or october. s ain't gonna sign a contract in a hurry, they will ensure that they can get the best offers possible because it's still a player-oriented market after all
