The Spurs are pathetic, responding to the most devastating loss in franchise history by getting destroyed by a LeBron-less Heat in Game 8.

Heat got better this off-season. Spurs got worse. lol @ SA for overpaying for a washed-up Argy and a soft Brazillian. Still don't understand why SA values trash foreign players like these guys after seeing how beastly a young American player like Leonard was last year. So much foreign trash on this team right now. DeColo's the worst though. The er isn't even good enough for most Euroleague teams and he has a NBA roster spot. Hilarious.

SA will be a 2nd round exit this year. Heat will three-peat.
Why are you basing so much off a preseason game? Parker shot the ball four times, and Ginobili went 3-4 from three. We have a lot of questions answered today. For instance, Leonard is ready to break out. We learned that Belinelli can step up offensively and Baynes can keep up with an elite NBA team. We also learned that Joseph is still a bit green and may not be ready to get a lot of minutes in a meaningful playoff game.

The Heat is a great team, tbh... worthy b2b champs... not sold on the Nets yet, but they could be pretty good. Indiana will fold, IMO.
I still say the Nets fall apart by the end of the season while Indy gets it together.

The only true s on the Spurs is Duncan and Leonard..one will retire soon and the other will leave just in time to avoid sinking down with that ship, tbh..

Manu's old as and has been a terrible playoff performer the past two years. Odds on him being healthy all year aren't good. TD"s an all-time great but he can't carry the frontcourt forever. If only Tiago wasn't such a bust. Good defender but can't do anything else. Parker's the youngest of the big three but we already saw last season that he couldn't stay healthy the entire NBA season plus post-season. Fatigue got to him and he disappointed throughout the Finals. Playing off-season ball with France is going to bite him in the ass this year.

Lol at anyone trying to learn anything from a preseason game. Not sold on Heat making a 4th consecutive trip to finals...but I hope they do and I hope the Spurs play them again. B2B champs because the Spurs gifted the le to them. Not mad just honest.

Tony will be fine... he just needs to use this season to get ready to play for France next summer... I think he'll be fine.

Yeah, Parker had his best playoff run...until the Finals. His injuries last year were obviously fatigue-related. Expect him to be worse this season during the playoffs(if he can even last that long).

was thinking the same thing cept for manu
Washed-up Manu on a 14 mil contract was dead weight. Washed up Manu on a 7 mil contract isn't that bad but it's still overpaying for him. 5 milllion would have been more than fair.

I'm glad we got Manu locked up for two more seasons. As I said, I expect the FO to offer a contract extension by Mid-Season... he looks in great shape, tbh

that's because most players don't have a legion of third worlders worshiping them. if Manu was American, we would've gotten a much better deal on him.

I still think the Spurs can have him handing out chalupas at the AT&T entrance once he retires. I think that would get some more people to the games, tbh...

sad but true. dude is going to most likely run as a politician, i could see him being the most worshiped dictator yet in that region. CIA might have to do what PATFO could not....

Dunno about that. Would be difficult for him to pass up $5m a season for handing out chalupas...
