Asked about Washington's problems through the air, wide receiver Pierre Garcon turned the question around.
"We've had trouble passing all year to tell you the truth. What do you think?" he asked reporters after the game, per WJFK-FM's Grant Paulsen. " ... I can only run the routes, try to make separation. That's the only thing I really can do.""Doesn't matter (who you're playing)," Garcon said. "If you suck at passing, you suck at passing ... We've just got to figure it out."

sons I can remember all the bull hype around JaMarcus Russell when he was here at LSU. not to sound like a "know it all", but I knew damn well LSU wouldn't win with him and he would be an NFL flop despite all of the media propaganda around him. people around here would be like ... "but...but... he can throw the football 50 yards while on one knee!" ... and I would fire right back with comments like ... "yea but he has next to nothing upstairs".
sure enough LSU won national championships the year BEFORE Russell and the first year AFTER Russell. both times with slightly above average (talent wise), white QB's (Matt Mauck & Matt Flynn). they had what it took upstairs to get the job done. JaMarcus was just worried about what his next platinum neck chain was going to look like. during his three years as starter in between those two les JaMarcus never had what it took to win games when it counted. oh ... do I even need to mention his NFL career?

Garcon. should have stayed in Indy and played with a real QB tbh.
Captain Kirk was thrown in the fire at the end of that game tbh. Once he gets some snaps in with the first teamers at practice and proper time to get ready, he'll team lead the skins to victory while Catfish flops on the sidelines.

Garcon had a uva catch on sunday. Robert Griffin needs to step it up. But they just ran into a juggernaut on sunday for 1 quarter. We'll know when RG3 is back. But he's still Rob Griffin for now.

The five teams the Redskins have lost too have a combined record of 24-15. Luckily the next three games are very winnable games so I can see us getting back to .500 and first in the division. The only two tough opponents are at home and that is 49ers and Chiefs and possibly the Cowboys so I can still see us winning the division.
The only thing that worries me is that teams finally figured out how ty our interior o-line is, and now defenses are blitzing like crazy is one of the problems that Robert is struggling right now. The only problem I have with RG3 is he is not scanning the field, and staring down his receivers so he is spending too much time in the pocket. Of course outside of Garcon and Reed and sometimes Hankerson his receivers have been terrible this year also and can't get open and when they do Griffin throws some nice passes and his receivers drop them like two big passes Moss and Robinson dropped Sunday.
Our secondary has stepped up recently, but we don't put enough pressure on quarterback especially up the middle with our d line. At least our running defense is still great, but Haslett needs to go after this season and possibly Kyle Shannahan also and his ty play calling of not running the ball in second half on Sunday's game. Even if we suck the rest of the season Redskins will have a lot of salary cap room to improve this team greatly with a 100% RG3.
Garcon needs to STFU and realize that the East is still wide open. Why cause a rift and blow playoff chances with stuff like that.
