I'm working on the assumption that Lopez will be that guy this season. Parker is definitely much better than DWill, but Parker was also depended on to run the team. DWill won't have to be that for the Nets.

Weird seeing that ol' sport Pierce in a jersey that doesn't have green
Lopez is too one-dimensional and not good enough on the boards or defensively to match Duncan's impact, although he does have a nice offensive game, tbh....
Yeah, but DWill is supposed to be the Nets' superstar in his prime, tbh.... if he's not good enough, they're reduced to hoping Lopez really does become Duncan and/or Pierce and KG play like they're young again - that's a tall order, and even that might not be enough against LeBron in the playoffs....Parker is definitely much better than DWill, but Parker was also depended on to run the team. That's a fair take. We'll see how it shakes out. I admittedly might have pre-ejac'd a bit watching this game saying they might win easily...but I'll still say they win.
If this Nyets team somehow stays healthy and they develop good chemistry they'll be on even footing with the Heat. Big if tho.
I agree...but I hope it happens. This playoff series with both teams at full strength would be one for the ages.
Garnett looks like he's playing naked when the Nets wear their black uniform... Rick James: "Darkness everybody."
The big 3 in the east is interchangeable - depending on health:
- Heat
- indiana
- Brooklyn
Indiana and Brooklyn both have size and present matchup problems for Miami. They better hope Oden can give them 15-20mpg because Haslem/Bridman can't deal with Hibbert or Lopez. Despite Miami's quickness and 3-pt shooting, size still matters.
Their size and their additions will make it difficult for Miami to make it to the Finals again tbh.
Coasting ladies and gentlemen. Nothing to see here, tbh.
Is what I would say if I were HH37

LeBron, Wade admitted entering season their conditioning was work in progress. Seeing it play out.
Hopefully a fight breaks out tonight tbh.
No way. Posey was a quality defender who could step in have a killer game from the 3 like Horry, Rondo was respectable, Eddie House could hit the three, Perkins was a quality player, and Cassell and PJ Brown would have been rotation players on Cleveland. Not even close bro. Not saying that's a world-beating supporting cast, but LeBron's best teammate in the starting lineup was Ilgauskas. I don't know how the they ever competed with that Celtics team.
How about a BK-SA Finals? We could call it the "Monochrome Finals".![]()
