At least we never resorted to acting black, talking black, and listening to ty - wanna be black music. Wearing baggy pants down our asses or "impersonating hoodlums" and all that other garbage. Are you black?
    lol "enlightened" racist against "labeling"

You do realize there are plenty of talented rappers who aren't black, right? Real hip-hop is not about "acting black," dumbass... and real rappers (not the gots on the radio nowadays) are better lyricists than the majority of other genres, imho....

In before you try to deflect from your hypocrisy and ignorance by calling me a "snitch"

Far better than the old people you listen to, tbh.....
Not even close. I listen to music that has a melody and people actually sing.

    Dumb .

Rap and hip hop came from blacks in the ghettos of major meccas like NY and other spots -

The idiots that are not black and copied them - are just that - copies!

I got no hate for the originals - IN ANYTHING - be original. Be true. Be yourself. Wear whatever YOU wear.

These idiots - like yourself - who see some originals and begin acting like them, singing/rapping like them, dressing like them -talking like them
    (yo my ) lol

are nothing but wanna be's and fake copycats who have no ing integrity.

    Spin that - snitch troll.

Hey dumb , the history of white rappers goes all the way back to DJ Flash and the Rappers Rapp Group in 1981.... even though hip-hop has predominantly black origins, non-black rappers have been around since pretty much the beginnings of the modern genre....

By your logic, all those gy soft-rock bands you listen to are also "wannabe's and fake copycats with no integrity," as rock-and-roll has its roots in predominantly African-American genres like R&B, gospel, jazz, and blues....

    Here is something for YOU to consider - but by all means - continue copying other cultures and other idiots - you are the one looking like an unoriginal idiot - but consider this;

    Imagine....

That all young black, latinos, & hip-hop caucasians...

suddenly go to COUNTRY music...and being wearing cowboy hats, speaking TWANG, en masse -

and copying that whole COUNTRY STYLE AND LIFESTYLE!!!!

You would look idiotic wouldn't you?

This is how this BLACK RAP WORSHIP looks to someone - who never copied other groups or cultures or music.

You do your own thing or you are just another wanna be.

You're right, we should all show our "individualism" by listening to the same gy soft-rock groups that you listen to

Again, by your logic, every time you listen to The Eagles, you are "copying other cultures" by listening to a genre invented by black people being performed by a band of white people....

    Dumbsnitch -

There is a huge in difference in listening to music and...

    talking, acting, dressing, worshipping, etc...

Rock music came from blacks and it was all a copied thing - but I didn't begin doing the above things - only listening to the .

When I see a moron LATINO kid wearing pants under his ass and talking like a black kid and he comes up to me and say,

"yo - wut up my ?"

I wanna slap the out of him. I tell him, "son, wake the up and speak to me like an educated person - ok?"

Now - gtf off my lawn.

Your "argument" depends on the assumption that everyone who listens to hip-hop acts the same way, and you would be wrong, tbh....

Hey dumb , the history of white rappers goes all the way back

Interesting, interesting. That's very deep bro. Now please explain how far back history goes on followers, their roots..and how you decided to be one. Did your dream to be a follower start in the crib? As a teen? Did you one day watch The Breakfast Club, got a crush on Anthony Michael Hall, then you thought you saw him here on Spurstalk and have followed him and his shticks ever since? Please elaborate for the history books, and for -ipedia. Thank you.

Since when did rap start to be considered music?
Definition of music = an art form consisting of sequences of sounds in time, esp tones of different pitch organized melodically, harmonically, rhythmically, and according to tone color.

Rap does not fit the description, sorry.

According to Dictionary.com it is. Are they not reputable?
    If not, what is?
I will keep an open mind about this, but so far I have never heard of any musician claiming rap was music.
