No, I had my first job in the US in 1995, in Portland, OR, the same year DRob was tearing it down, and won MVP... then went back to Arg for a couple of years, and in 1999 finally moved to NJ, where I've been since.

tbh, pretty lucky the Spurs drafted and brought in Manu, which made the fandom much more enjoyable for me...
