Hideous. Basketball shoes in general are ugly. Don't get how it's at all stylish to wear them. There are some designer tennis shoes/sport shoes that look good, but not the actual bball shoes.
Lebron James has only worn the Nike Lebron 11 for two complete games this NBA season, and he's finally broken silence on why. ESPN reports that James has a fit issue with his new signatures, which is why he's gone back to to wearing the previous model for most of the year.
"I just want to be able to wear them," James told ESPN, before the Miami Heat's matchup against the Chicago Bulls last night. "It has been a frustrating process. But obviously, I know that Nike wants to do what's best. They're not going to put me out there in harm's way. So we're redefining the shoe to fit what's best for my foot."
No matter how many times Lebron's worn his new kicks on court, sales of them are still up 18 percent compared to sales of the Lebron 10 at this point last year, according to the Wall Street Journal.via Nike

There was a time when basketball shoes were tight. I remember Jordan kicks in the mid 90s eere hard to get that Jordan himself had to get it.
