Honestly I didn't know they played tonight. I watched the World Series. But no biggie. One loss.

DENVER (AP) - Marcus Camby had 15 points and 13 rebounds in three quarters and Carmelo Anthony added 14 points, helping the Denver Nuggets beat the Indiana Pacers 98-80 in a pre-season game Sunday night.
Jamaal Tinsley scored 12 points and Rashad Wright 11 for the Pacers, who played without Jermaine O'Neal, Ron Artest, Jonathan Bender and Jeff Foster. Reggie Miller was in uniform, but his only significant action came after the first quarter when he posed for a picture with a fan during a skit with the Nuggets' mascot.
Denver had its starting lineup - guards Andre Miller and Voshon Lenard, Anthony and Kenyon Martin at forward and Camby at centre - together for the first time in the pre-season.
The difference in talent was clear from the start.
Denver shot 13-of-19 and held the Pacers to 31 percent to lead 33-17 after one quarter, then scored the first nine points of the second to lead by 25.
Camby had his way inside with so many of Indiana's post players out, contributing 11 points and seven rebounds before sitting out the final nine minutes of the second quarter.
Indiana cut Denver's 21-point halftime lead to six at 78-72 after the Nuggets lifted their starters in the fourth quarter, but Earl Boykins scored 13 of his 18 points in the period to keep the Pacers from getting any closer.
Denver power forward Nene had six points and three rebounds in three minutes after missing the first four pre-season games with a sore hamstring.
Honestly I didn't know they played tonight. I watched the World Series. But no biggie. One loss.
Stephen Jackson with two bad shooting games in a row. Last game 4-for-12 (and 1-for-5 FT's). Tonight 3-for-9 including 0-for-3 from beyond the arc.

hmmm... a big game and then two less than average games. Stephen Jackson. the definition of the streaky guard. i'm hoping that halfway through the season barry will have made everyone forget about jackson. Of course all of barry's traits are hypothetical to spurs fans until he acts them out in the silver and black. but come on... sjax better than manu or barry? please....
