tbh maybe the ones in DFW just suck ass, but any time i've gone to Five Guys the burgers are burnt and their fries are disgustingly greasy.
I went there twice. never had a burnt burger but they just threw a bunch of fries in the bag. By the time I got home, you could see through my bag due to all the grease. no thank you. burger was just ok, at best.

Yeah, the fries at in-n-out aren't the greatest and I can't imagine what they're like regular. I always get them well done and they're still ehh. Also, animal style is the way to go on the burgers.

People in So Cal don’t spend their day bragging about fast food like YOU FAT PEOPLE do in San Antonio…In n Out is just a fast food joint that is not horrible like McDonalds, Burger King or Jack in the Box.

In-N-Out is a cult thing here in Cali--It's rather good for the price you pay as you can safely buy three combo meals and spend less than $20. I live down the street from one of the original In-N-Outs and you can wait upwards to 30 mins at the place. I normally go with the Animal Style w/circle onion and chopped banana peppers. I would choose it over Five Guys and any other moderately priced fast food, but it wouldn't be the first choice of burger if I had to pick. That would go to Father's Office, Umami, or Slater's 50/50. Congregation Ale House has a Kobe beef or Wagyu beef burger that is definitely worth the try.

I'll go to the In-n-out in Round Rock once the lines go down, I'm not in a rush like the fatties they showed on the news literally crying over the opening. As far as I'm concerned, Whataburger is tops in the fast food department for burgers right now, may change my mind after trying In-n-out though.

Kind of surprised about the hate for Whataburger. I think it's solid and would take it over In-N-Out, Five Guys, P Terry's, and a lot of other fast food joints.
Yeah, I don't get it. I love Whataburger. I tried In N Out and thought it was okay but absolutely nothing to write home about. It's just another fast food burger. If anything I thought the "special sauce" was laughable. You should be embarrassed if you have to have ing 1000 island dressing on your burger. I gave them a second chance without the sauce and it was decent enough.

Sorry son, Burger King is far and away the worst fast food burger. Even White Castle s all over Burger King. Even frozen White Castle from HEB and popped in the microwave s all over Burger King.

The Whopper used to be decent 15 years ago. Now they just copy off everything McDonalds does.

I've heard of G Burger in the O.C., but I haven't been out there yet. I would also recommend The Counter, too. The Habit could be compared to your guys' Whataburger, I think? I would recommend going to Father's Office and Umami first and Slater's 50/50 if you're really hungry or are planning on working out hard if you're in the SoCal area. They use a burger which is 50% beef (sirloin and other types) and 50% bacon ground up. You also have a plethora of custom-made sauce and toppings that you can add to really give you indigestion and a coronary!

See them on our way to Vegas--never had the urge to try 'em and I think that is a direct correlation to the desire to get to the Capital of Debauchery that I hadn't stopped and try one. I mean, I just recently stopped @ Alien Jerky and its been around forever on the way back from LV.

For those in the Medical Center area, check out San Antonio Burger. The owner relies on word of mouth so his food is always on point. I've never had a bad experience when ordering from him. They are a bit more expensive than average, but it's worth it IMO.

Plus, they deliver. No need to do a munchie run when you're high as .

Whataburger is pretty decent tbh, at least their chicken strips. Wendy's makes the best burgers IMO but I eat fast food only twice a week at most so up don't really explore that many option
