Lynch is 27th in ypc among running backs tbh. wilson is 4th in ypa and 6th in qbr. with their lack of outside weapons, they do need to be run heavy though. its the same story with the pre-moss patriots. brady was great, but they had mediocre weapons and relied on the run and their defense
    2001-2006 Patriots rushing stats:
    2001 Patriots: 13th in rushing yards (1793), 24th in YPA (3.8)
    2002 Patriots: 28th in rushing yards (1508), 28th in YPA (3.8)
    2003 Patriots: 27th in rushing yards (1607), 30th in YPA (3.4)
    2004 Patriots: 7th in rushing yards (2134), 17th in YPA (4.1)
    2005 Patriots: 24th in rushing yards (1512), 30th in YPA (3.4)
    2006 Patriots: 12th in rushing yards (1969), 18th in YPA (3.9)
    2013 Seahawks: 4th in rushing yards (2118), 10th in YPA (4.4)

    2001-2006 Patriots passing stats:
    2001 Patriots: 21st in passing yards (3089), 14th in YPA (5.9)
    2002 Patriots: 12th in passing yards (3577), 22nd in YPA (5.6)
    2003 Patriots: 9th in passing yards (3432), 13th in YPA (6.0)
    2004 Patriots: 11th in passing yards (3588), 7th in YPA (7.0)
    2005 Patriots: 2nd in passing yards (4120), 4th in YPA (7.0)
    2006 Patriots: 12th in passing yards (3400), 12th in YPA (6.1)
    2013 Seahawks: 26th in passing yards (3078), 4th in YPA (7.0)

    2001-2006 Patriots play selection:
    2001 Patriots: 1001 plays, 473 rushing plays (47.25%), 528 passing plays (52.75%)
    2002 Patriots: 1031 plays, 395 rushing plays (38.31%), 636 passing plays (61.29%)
    2003 Patriots: 1042 plays, 473 rushing plays (45.39%), 569 passing plays (54.61%)
    2004 Patriots: 1034 plays, 524 rushing plays (50.68%), 511 passing plays (49.42%)
    2005 Patriots: 1031 plays, 439 rushing plays (42.58%), 592 passing plays (57.42%)
    2006 Patriots: 1055 plays, 499 rushing plays (47.30%), 556 passing plays (52.70%)
    2013 Seahawks: 910 plays, 473 rushing plays (51.98%), 437 passing plays (48.02%)

comparing the Seahawks to the pre-Moss Patriots, especially since those numbers don't weigh how much more pass heavy the NFL is in 2013 compared to 2001-2006.

the ypc shtick? ypc is arguably the most important stat for a running back. its not an end-all-be-all, but to dismiss it as a "shtick" is seriously re ed. there's a reason guys like barry sanders and AP average 5.0 ypc for their careers. there's a reason why jamaal charles and lesean mccoy have great ypc numbers. it tells you how well they do on average on a given running play. do you also call batting average a shtick in baseball?
I agree about YPC for the most part, but why do it a disservice and compare it to batting average , batting average IS by far the most overrated stat in professional sports simply because OBP is a much better stat that actually factors in walks.

yeah obp outclasses BA in every way, i was just making an example of taking a staple statistic of a sport and writing it off, ypc being one of them

it's not about writing it off, but it's pretty obvious 3down rbs will have a lot lower average than for example 2downs like Morris or Spiller.. it just doesn't tell all that much by itself, you still have to put the number into the bigger picture..

I feel like jumping off a bridge when reading raven's posts tbh.

But, if I was a Bills fan, I'd be pretty salty about that Lynch trade, especially in light of Fred Jackson, and Spiller's injury woes. I genuinely feel for Bills fans there. Also, the fact that we traded you Tavaris Jackson, just for him to get cut and end up as our backup

To think, if Lynch wasn't running people over in real life as good as he was on the field, he may still be a Buffalo Bill
Of all the reasons Buffalo has lost since Week 3 of 2010, RB is not one of them. Perhaps if you were able to pay closer attention to the stats you would know this. I hear Adderall helps, tbh.

Oh I agree it's an amazing combo but it wrecks your liver. At my partying highpoint I would take two 20 mgs and snort one up each nostril which enhanced the alcohol tremendously

It sucks having to explain orange snot, though. Clogs up your nostrils like crazy, lessens the effects of the pill, but the one good thing is the drip tasted like candy--not a nasty coke drip.

I miss Dilaudid and Oxy...I could snort those the livelong day

Texas has it mega-regulated. There's a special bar-coded script that only Texas doctors have. It's pointless because my doctor churns out scripts no questions asked, much more easy-going about it than any Arizona doctor is.
