Where's Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty at? Or Jimmie Johnson?
outdated list.
But FIVE
Tiger Woods (U.S.), golf
Roger Federer (Switzerland), tennis
Michael Phelps (U.S.), swimming
Anderson Silva (Brazil), Mixed Martial Arts
Usain Bolt (Jamaica), track and field
Tom Brady (U.S.), American football
Kobe Bryant (U.S.), basketball
Peyton Manning (U.S.), American football
Albert Pujols (Rep.Dominicana), baseball
Michael Schumacher (Germany), auto racing
Mariano Rivera (Panama), baseball
Tim Duncan (U.S.), basketball
Zinedine Zidane (France), association football (soccer)
Shaquille O'Neal (U.S.), basketball
Jimmie Johnson (U.S.), NASCAR
LeBron James (U.S.), basketball
Manny Pacquiao (Philippines), boxing
Derek Jeter (U.S.), baseball
Nicklas Lidström (Sweden), ice hockey
Alex Rodriguez (U.S.), baseball
spots ahead of Tim Duncan on the SI decade ranking. I mean, it shouldn't really come to anyone's surprise. The NBA's active leader in championship rings is the face of the NBA.

Oh I see Jimmie, I see him.
WTF at A-Roid making the list. That got literally had one good playoff year in him, came at the end of the decade too.
clutch?
Pujols too as far as championships goes.
Derek Fisher has the same amount of rings. And before you give me the "he didn't do " talk
Yeah but he was undoubtely baseball's best player in this era. Still shouldn't be higher than Duncan or Shaq though. Same thing with Rivera.. GOAT baseball closer<<<<GOAT NBA PF

and at 29 games played this season, he counts as active too. Kobe's 6 games played disqualifies himself from the active list tbh
If Durant has a monster year in him, Fisher goes up on Kobe 6-5
Lakerfans were terrified in 2012 when OKC made the Finals as favorites with HCA. Sadly, James Harden decided not to play in that series.
Where's that 5'6 Argentinian god tbh? Have I overlooked him because he's too short?
I've never followed euro football until last couple of years but was Zidane that good? Dude retired in 06 and is ranked higher than ing Shaq? I know Shaq pretty much retired after 06-07 but still
Soccer is the more popular sport. Zidane is a legend for one of the greatest clubs in Soccer history(Real Madrid) + he won the World Cup for France in 98 against Brazil.
The decade lists are based on popularity.
Zidane is there, no one else needed!
Zidane was THAT good. Led his teams to multiple les, GOAT! And he played till 2010!

Is that why Jim Donecan made the list?
He made the list because he's a great player. If he had the hype that Kirby did, he would have been a lot higher. Plus, he only won 3 rings in that decade.
Still mad over kobe's tosb legs not holding up. Boo ing hoo.
