If the Lakers landed another pick and they somehow ended up with two top prospects, things would look interesting for them.
This is a pipe dream, however, as it depends on a lot of luck/fixing.
The draft would be fixed for the Lakers to get the 2nd or 3rd pick, tbh..there would be too many conspiracy theories in today's NBA for them to get 1st..
Imagine if Bynum somehow ends up playing for the spurs.................
Pau Gasol has been fake-traded twice in his career? Basketball reasons and now, ESPN 710 intern
If he manages to stick around another couple years he'll approach Rodney King status.
CBS Sports is reporting that Bynum might still be traded to Utah for Richard Jefferson.

so is Cleveland trying to make serious push for playoffs, therefore acquiring MVPau, or is this another way to hookup Lakers for NBA?
Either way, it's pretty clear Cleveland is shopping for a sexual in return for Bynum.
If the Lakers get Embiid that would be disgusting... Hopefully they pick Blake 2.0 aka Aaron Gordon...
Cuban should also go after Andrew if the rumors come true tbh. We need strength in the paint exigently and signing bynum would help us immensely in that regard. Currently our best big next to dirk is what? Blair or Dlembert?
MVPau deserves to be traded to a playoff team. He's busting his ass off trying to bring this Laker team back to playoff contention(just like last year). If Lakers want to tank they have to trade Pau, he's the only player that wins games for this team.
cavs doing whatever it takes to keep irving...
this clown is going to take the lebron route if cavs aint doing to build a good team around him...
anyone that starts a thread using Alex Kennedy as the main source should be put to death.
that being said, Bynum for RJ would be![]()
we'll likely get the 1st and 2nd or 1st and 3rd or 2nd and 4th along with Melo![]()
...then cry that poor Kobe has no help after you miss the playoffs.
Lakers need to get rid of MVPau because dude's wrecking their Wiggins plan, but why don't they just cut him right away, rather than trade him for Bynum + trashes and waive Bynum? No way would the cavs trade any meaningful talents or picks for a veteran's expiring contract imho.
Stern been fixing that #1 seed for Dan Gilbert's re ed son for years... time to give it to another re ed son, tbh...
