This is brutal. I said I was alarmed with the injury to the same hammy, not only because of his play and what it did last year (and subsequently this year), but because now it appears to be a real issue with that area of his body. Re-injury is a massive concern especially when you see what it does to his play even though the first hammy issue this year wasn't supposed to be that bad.

Manu never had recurring issues... broken hand, nose, etc... this hammy though, this is turning into chronic. Like I said when the thread started, he had a good career

Sure, but some guys are just injury prone at all the wrong times. But I agree, you were arguing with me about it not being the "same injury" but that wasn't the point. The fact it's Manu, in the same area, with the results to his game is what was the concern last year and this year.

We just don't agree on this. It wasn't the same injury. It makes sense (IMO) to give him the benefit of the doubt.

With this recurring now though, it is certainly worrying. I'm worried. I wouldn't surprise me if he decides to retire.
