Come on Tiago.

Injury report: Splitter (right calf contusion) will not play in tonight’s game. Belinelli (back spasms) is listed as probable for tonight.
God dammit Splitter. I could understand the Bobcats, but the Spurs' chances of winning tonight plummet dramatically without him playing.
Ew. Splitter needs to get his head in the game. Oh well, hopefully Ayres builds on last game.
I heard this as well. Isn't Pop making the call who plays? Tiago surely isn't saying " I won't be playing tonight cause I have a boo boo."
If Splitter really is hurting, I'm glad he's sitting and not aggravating an injury.
What did he say?
According to Jeff McDonald and one on the guys from 48moh Splitter said he couldn't play himself.
This guy is always hurt, damn.
The Pistons are just as bad as the Bobcats.
Still, these repeated nagging injuries that keep sidelining him are getting aggravating.
Bobcats only had Al Jefferson to worry about and Duncan would've guarded him most of the time anyway with McRoberts being a bit too mobile for him; Would've prolly started Diaw anyway. Detroit on the other hand has Drummond, Monroe, and Josh Smith who are threats in the paint. They're gonna end up with double the rebounds/points in the paint as the Spurs.
Detroit is huge, and it was already going to be hard to contain Smith with Green on him. Now we'll see Diaw on Monroe and Duncan on Drummond. Could be a tough game.
Given how much SF Diaw has been playing recently, I could see Pop starting someone like Bonner or Ayers at the 4 alongside Duncan and Diaw.
Splitter making out like a thief in the night.. Dude doesn't want to stay on the court after he made his money
The whole "Splitter should man up and play through his injury" is so incredibly stupid.
Splitter has a muscular injury and the risk to aggravate the injury if not fully healthy is very high. Do people really want to see him missing many weeks to play a game in February?
Normally I'd agree, but hearing about Pop calling him out makes me think the injury isn't really serious.
Naw. The chick behind him holding the beer just slid her toe near his crack.
Spurs have a ton of money on people that can't even play just saying.
Splitter has probably figured out that players who try to play through injuries and don't play up to their normal level while hurting are trashed by the fans as being scrubs or something. (See: TD early in the season when he had that chest bruise; TP recently and currently with shin bruises and back spasms and last year in the finals with the sprained hamstring). Splitter is smart, imo.
TD didn't really come back this season until after that bruise had completely healed, and Tony has been playing through nagging injuries all season.
Splitter is gonna get criticized no matter what unless he is playing at a very high level.
Tiago had little lift when healthy. With this calf injury, he probably has zero lift.
THIS. Instead of getting blocked by Mario Chalmers when healthy, he'd get blocked by Muggsy Bogues now.
Danny Green might be added to the injured list again?
Jeff Ayres makes ONE THIRD of the average NBA salary.
