Ugggh, Pop and his lefty politics. Not my cup of tea.
While in San Antonio, former President Bill Clinton ate lunch with some of the city’s most high-profile people. There was Mayor Julian Castro, former mayor and Clinton cabinet member Henry Cisneros, and no San Antonio power lunch would be complete without Spurs coach Gregg Popovich.

EDIT - Restaurant
Ugggh, Pop and his lefty politics. Not my cup of tea.
Don't love the political views, but not too bad to hang out with a former president. Especially when Pop's knowledge of wines goes well with the Prez being an expert on cigars.
That's where the whole small ball concept came from.
Far left at that, but I do like all those men at the table. Wouldn't have minded being a fly on the wall at Mi Tierra today.
meh, now if it was Pop and Putin then![]()
At least Pop didn't do an ACA commercial (yet)...
lol at you thinking because people stated that Pop is far left that they are Republican.
- "Pop, Clinton, Cisneros, & Castro Walk into a Restaraunt...." What's the punchline?
Spurs share the ball and noone is worth more than any other.
Spurs are a socialist team no doubt. And we all socialists for supporting them TBH
Iirc he thinks it's
he's not alone
Thing is, there is no way that Clinton would have eaten whatever that platterful of food was if it involved meat. He has become a vegan for health reasons.
Bet he would have wanted to though.
I'm still waiting for the joke as well.
OP, plz deliver.
Who in cares about Pop's political views? Have you guys been angry that most of the teams winning NBA les have been from blue cities and states too? Boston, LA, Chicago. . .all blue cities in blue states.
Just enjoy the basketball. And imo it's cool Pop got invited to a meal w/ Bill Clinton.
Pop is Dem? all this after gay marriage was approved in TX? wow...![]()
Wow Bill Clinton looks like he's knocking on heaven's door
no doubt.
I'm your typical Austin hippie type so I enjoyed seeing this but tbh one of the best things about SpursTalk is that we're all Spurs fans across political lines. Fighting about politics gets exhausting and it's depressing as .
