i originally picked them to get there in 50 games, so i would take my predictions with a grain of salt.
that said, i'll say in Sacto
Spurs are currently 43-16 (23 games to go), only 7 games away from extending their NBA record for most 50-win seasons (currently standing at 14).
At this point it looks inevitable that they'll reach that mark, the question is, when? Here's a list of the remaining 23 games. Make your pick:
Spurs @ Cleveland
Spurs vs Miami
Spurs vs Orlando
Spurs @ Chicago
Spurs vs Portland
Spurs vs L.A. Lakers
Spurs vs Utah
Spurs @ L.A. Lakers
Spurs @ Sacramento
Spurs @ Golden State
Spurs vs Philadelphia
Spurs vs Denver
Spurs @ Denver
Spurs vs New Orleans
Spurs @ Indiana
Spurs vs Golden State
Spurs @ Oklahoma City
Spurs vs Memphis
Spurs @ Minnesota
Spurs @ Dallas
Spurs vs Phoenix
Spurs @ Houston
Spurs vs L.A. Lakers

At UTAH BABY! We aint losing no more hhhhhhhh
i'm feelin' frisky and going with in LA against the 4th best team in California tbh.
Hmm.. every upcoming game except vs Miami and vs Portland is in the Spurs' favor. I'll say @ Sacramento
@ Sacramento tbh
Chicago is a tough game tbh.
In Sacto. And you should bet on that if you're familiar with my RRT predict.
True. But I still see the Spurs taking that game.
I think it happens somewhere in the
Spurs vs Denver
Spurs @ Denver
stretch. I'm thinking it happens at home, vs Denver, and then in Denver they celebrate in style.
crazy to think of that stat. Spurs have been so consistent and reliable, I know I take it for granted.
Spurs @ Chicago
We are that good! BELIEVE!
76ers
Denver.
Pop will continue to be careful with minutes for starters and so we won't be at full strength against the strongest teams we face. He just doesn't buy in to the 'win every game at any cost' philosophy, banking on the natural talent of our backups and the system to win games against weaker teams.
So while Spurs fans will be frothing at the mouth to beat Miami, Portland, and Golden State for 'statement games", Pop is just as likely to find some reason to sit Tim or Manu in those games. League fines be damned.
