Yeah a lot of fans are pissed from the Smith release, and I am too.. But Gettleman is the best in the league in evaluating young talent. He said he's doing what he can to make the franchise successful in the long run. What idiots (not saying usernames) don realize is that pretty much anyone is an upgrade from last year. Get 2 solid receivers and a draft pick or two and were good at receiver. Far more worried about our line.
For any Jags fans who want to know, Doss has awesome hands and is a big target with good moves in space. But he is afraid of contact, which makes him drop balls. He's also made some big mental mistakes with route-running. If a good receiving coach and can fix those problems, Doss can have a great career.

Losing Doss and son would be addition by subtraction for Baltimore. No more dropped passes. Torrey Smith, Steve Smith, Jacoby Jones, Marlon Brown, and Dennis Pitta will be Joe Bags' main guys now. That's a ton of speed and some great 3rd down/move the chains guys (SS and Pitta). Gonna be interesting to see who starts at RB but I'm sure Ozzie will find some stud in the later rounds. Ravens are winning the AFC this year...but then again I say that every year

Nah, Oher's contract ran out. He wasn't cut. That's important, since Baltimore should get a fifth-rounder next season. Right now, Balt should get a fourth, fifth and sixth as 2015 compensatory picks. If son signs elsewhere (he has an offer from the Ravens as well), Baltimore will get another seventh.
