Pitching was tremendous.....clutch hitting is 2 out situations, they were money
I told all you doubters(Duff) that this was their year, didn't I??? The curse is officially dead!!!
Pitching was tremendous.....clutch hitting is 2 out situations, they were money
Yankee fans have all winter to come up with a different chant. "19-18" no longer applies.
Yeah the Sox curse is now...now it's the Cubs turn. But tonight it's all 'bout the Sox. The Curse of the Bambino is officially and without a doubt, D E A D !
From Cursed to First!!! That is new chant.
Somewhere, Teddy Ballgame is smiling.
8 wins in a row??? Against teams that won 101 and 105 games this year??? Impossible you say?
From Ortiz' 2 run homer in the bottom of the 12th inning to tonight, they did it...UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Not that I'd ever participate in a Yankee smackfest, but I would suggest "19 More."Yankee fans have all winter to come up with a different chant. "19-18" no longer applies.
Bite me, Spurm!

I told you Jim...

The Yankees are the team...period. They flat out owned the Red Sox. 19-8...I'm sure those guys at the Sporting News were right.

Boston's bullpen is very thin, they need to win it in 11th.

Thanks man.
I guess I am not a jinx afterall. 4 championships in 5 yrs for my teams(Spurs, Terps and Sox) is proof of that. Now, I want my Redskins to win it all again, then the Spurs again.![]()
Congrats to the Bo Sox but what a boring series...Did the Cardinals try anything? They just lay down & gave it to them...
Sheesh La Russa... Get a relief pitcher up and throwing once in a while...Players Maybe try to knock the ball out of the 1st baseman’s glove when he try’s to tag you out or even a hard slide now & then...Hey! Bunt on Schilling....FANS...Yell Whose your Daddy...SOMETHING...
At least the unruly New York players & fans went down swinging...
Camper, the pitching just got better and better as the post season went on. The Cards were handcuffed, I give al the credit to Boston's staff rather than say the Cards did not try hard enough.
I really like the Cardinals and am saddened that they are getting a bum rap...they deserve better. Pujols is to me, the best player in baseball and he is a great man with a huge heart as well. Kudos to the Cards for a great season, they just did not have that ace on the staff that could overpower a batter and it killed them in the WS.
Jim,
The Cardinals choked in game 3 with their base-running gaffes. Sending Walker on the shallow fly ball was stooooopid. Suppan should be an honorary member of "The Idiots" as well for his blunder.
Dr Jim- It was no contest...The Bo Sox Kicked Butt...
tlong, maybe one day, your Mariners can win too........ Ha!
