The NBA should be embarrassed with this .
Conley lately from the line![]()
There's a big difference between "calls here and there, some home cooking" and what RefKC gets wherever they play
Memphis being down big early still does not en le the refs to them over later on when the game is close....
What's so complicated about shooting 30% from the floor, missing double-digit freebies, and laying an egg? The refs didn't make them do that, and OKC's defense isn't that good.
That's why they lost the game. Don't take my word for it, just listen to the Memphis fan here.
Only if he shot your mom in the head first.
If the refs favor one team then that is one of many reasons for the loss. For some reason you think there can only be one reason. That perspective is nonsense though.
Rigged = Lakers vs Kings in the early 00s... That OKc game is not even close tbh...
Tbf Dallas looked pedestrian in the first round. They weren't going anywhere if Pau didn't cry like a over his girlfriend. Alas, he did, and the Lakers bid for a three peat got unceremoniously swept by the Mavs. The confidence they got there snowballed and by the time they got to the Finals they were world-beaters that Miami couldn't beat even with their newly-assembled Super friends.
As for the Spurs you could see an entire fan base desperate to erase the memories of last year's horrible Finals gaffe... it's the same thing that the Lakers fans felt in 2009 after being favored by ESPN experts to beat the Celtics in 2008 and ending up losing by 39 in Game 6. I understand where the desperation comes from but I just don't like the Spurs.
What's more painful, watching Derek Fisher or Ray Allen win another ring?
Spurs would have to play out-of-their-minds, perfect basketball for every possession, and they might have the slimmest miracle shot at beating OKC. This looks like their year.
In this game, the reason Memphis is losing has way, way more with their 1st half than any refs calls... Bad calls and all, they would be up 10+ right now if they played the 1st half anywhere near their capabilities.
And yet they managed to get past that and play well enough to make the game close.... still not seeing the justification here for all the bogus calls RefKC has been getting....
Randolph getting three fouls in two minutes? Fouls being called every time Memphis gains momentum. OKC went to the line six straight possessions at one point. Sure, the Griz played like . But for you to say "the refs didn't contribute to it" is re ed.
Can Durant ever keep that ing mouthpiece in his ING mouth??
Thought Gasol could hit shots.
If OKC shoots 100% they win the game too.. ofcourse there's many possible "perspectives"... we're talking about what happened in this game.
The ref argument is easily defeated when you consider that refs don't make you miss your shots, and they don't make the opponent hit theirs. Everyone wants an alternate reason for losing other than being a weaker team facing a stronger one, on the road.
If you really think the NBA is rigged, you should not watch it. I wouldn't watch something I felt was a rigged show to maximize profits. I don't watch professional wrestling, for example... or any of the TruTV shows.
But LOL Spur fan wanting OKC to lose out of pure fear.
pathetic that Grizzlies didn't at least scream at the face of one of those refs
a technical foul doesnt mean right now
are you serious? grizzlies offense without z-bo is like water compared to wine, that changes games and 60 games of work in aseason
I'm not justifying any calls, I'm pointing out the main reason Memphis couldn't win this game. Anybody that watched any amount of basketball knows that playing catchup on the road is hard.
The thing about the Grizzlies shooting 31 percent is that they are shooting 31 percent off the ing no calls they're getting. Those guys are getting hammered out there. The field goal doesn't count as an attempt if you shoot and miss while getting a foul call. This game is a testament to the NBA's agenda.
The entire OKC frontline was in foul trouble the 1st half. Did you complain then? Memphis didn't take advantage, that's on them.
You should stick to keeping Manu's stat line.
It's the refs' fault that they shot 31%
It's the refs' fault that Tony Allen kept on chucking jumpers when he shouldn't even attempt anything beyond 3 ft
It's the refs' fault that Memphis missed their freethrows
