I'm not really saying it wasn't fair. I'm saying if it wasn't then it is a reason for the loss.
You're not really saying anything. You want to be right and if you're not, you want to pose a hypothetical where, in an alternate universe, you might be.

So your take is that the officiating was fair tonight. Otherwise if it was changed it would change something.
What? Did you not read my response? I said it wouldn't have changed a thing, implying that that I felt the officiating somewhat favored OKC, but the grizzlies played ty enough for it not to have affected the outcome.

What I'm getting from some of you people trying to justify calls is this: Say your girlfriend was having dinner with a guy whom you know nothing about and you happen to suddenly walk onto the situation and hide to see whats going on. You see her begin touching him on the leg. Justification: she's giving him a massage. She being feeding him fruits: Justification: He probably can't feed himself. She situation escalates and they embrace in a french kiss. Justification: Oh...that's probably what she doesn't with her cousins from where she's from.

^^^^^^That is how you sound to me. Like delusional moron boyfriends of the NBA who can't justify what is completely REAL in front of them. You're the reason why people go on living paranoid lives of kicking babies in the balls.

Its basic psychology that if you change the rules for a team in this league, you completely destroy the offensive strategy and their confidence in their offense. Not only that, you give the opponent the benefit of regular rules and much more and you've got the formula for setting up your own match ups.

Seriously, I understand that a team can shoot themselves out of the game however i watched the entire game. The Memphis Grizzlies would have had the Thunder completely rattled had they got their due. They were destroying all momentum the Thunder had and the officials did their absolute best to keep them away from tying.
Nah, what I'm saying is that your girlfriend spent all last weekend with Leroy... the fact that now she wants to give you a blowjob to make up shouldn't hide the fact that you're a cuck. Memphis largely did this to themselves in the first half. We can debate whether the refs calls swung the score 5-10 points either way, but when you gave up 20 in a half and it's entirely on you, then it's on you...

Yeah, I'm saying people should talk about the refs if they think they were bad regardless of what memphis did. And regardless of what memphis did it would be a contribution to a loss if they were bad.

The refs are like the weather, you have to play through it or go home. You cannot make adjustments and overcome a bias if it exists. If you think there's a bias, stop watching basketball. If it's rigged, there's really no compe ion.

I called OKC to win this series because they don't have enough firepower... I still feel the same way. I do think Memphis can rough em up a bit though... maybe steal a game or two... if Conley is hurt, then it's over, IMO.

They can get their act together, and THEN get ed by the refs... but you can't put the refs first when they laid such an egg in the first half... They let OKC get a 24pt (IIRC) lead, and it was all on them...

They pulled their heads out of their asses and made it close after their start - take away the BS officiating and they may have completed the comeback.... instead, they weren't even given a fair chance....

This was my series analysis upstairs:

The big advantage for the Grizz is in the paint... They can box out and rebound, they can bully inside, and they can make sure KD, Westbrook or Jackson do not get layups... OKC is going to have to shoot well from outside (which they can do, but the layup/freebie is the preferred route). The key for the Griz is going to be slowing down the pace, keep the turnovers down, and just pound inside. Mike Miller needs to be an x-factor for them.

I still don't think they have enough firepower though...

Link where I said "it's one thing or another"? I said it's the main reason...
"enough with the ref BS... Memphis lost this game in the 1st half with absolutely horrible shooting... it happens..."

This is what you said. So because they played bad in the first half the reffing couldn't be a reason for the loss.

You need to understand the amount of free throws are irrelevant. Those free throws that the Griz got were when they were down by over 20. The Thunder started getting them when it was a 2 point game. They even had 6 straight possessions going to the line. Not to mention Z-Bo getting 3 fouls in two minutes.

I feel like this problem could be seen if someone actually watched the game.

OKC in 4. Memphis will not win a game. They've already given up mentally. Their championship came when they beat Dallas for 7th seed.

So the same amount of FTs are irrelevant? Do you think Memphis' coach thinks missing half their FTs is irrelevant? I did watch the game. You're a tool.
