Memphis
Dallas
How is this bad for us? Spurs won't have much trouble with Dallas.

I would rather thunder play grizzlies as the grizz match up well with them. We will sweep either team.
Yeah I don't want Tony Allen's ass trying to hurt our guys.
Spurs Mavs it is.
That makes no sense to me. MEM will pound on OKC all series, as will the Clips. That is no easy road.
Huh? Slippers are beating OKC no matter who has HCA. Wake up and sniff the cocaine.
Unfortunately, it looks like we'll have Beverley's ass trying to hurt our guys in the 2nd round, tbh.
I hope the Spurs aren't taking Dallas lightly. They got enough talent to make it a tough series. Monta is getting more comfortable in their system, and Dirk is still Dirk. I hope Parker is healthy because he plays well against Dallas.
I'm not at all worried about the Dallas series, but HOU in the second round (if they beat POR) is a bit of a concern. I know we have the better team, but our inability to beat them during the regular season was odd, and Harden just loves beating the SPurs and seems to be one of those players who gives us trouble (even though his 4-16 the other night against our bench was pathetic).
I hope they take them lightly AND sweep them...
Playoffs are here. Our team is done coasting. They're ready.
Meh. From my perspective, this worked out pretty good for the Spurs. Neither team was going to be a cakewalk, but Memphis is better than their record indicates. They play tough defense, and sometimes get downright dirty. Dallas has some players that can get hot, but there's less chance of getting an injury playing against those guys. Let the Grizz pound on Oklahoma for a series, and then let OKC go seven against the Clipps.
Taking teams lightly can develop bad habits going forward. Having said that, I don't think they will. It's the playoffs, and we have some unfinished business.
plus I was being facetious...
Because of matchups. Memphis can't shoot for , we swept them last year and this year they suck even more. Dallas is the second best 3pt shooting team in the NBA and Dirk always plays well against us, I'm sure there will be at least 1, maybe 2 games in the series against them where they shoot lights out and beat us. Against Memphis it would have probably been a sweep.
Another reason why I would have rather play Memphis is 'cause that way OKC would have had to face the Mavs against whom they had a lot of problems this season.
Answer should be Dallas. Very unlikely the Mavs even win a game, and if they do, it'll be just one. Even if Dirk goes for 30 every game (unlikely), the Spurs will get just about whatever they need back from the Mavs' D.
Just keeping it real.
(Note: I'm not factoring in whether Memphis or Dallas would be a tougher out for OKC, although I think the answer there is probably Dallas.)
Games 1 in SAT... Sunday at noon.....Game 2 in SAT...Wed. at 7PM.......Game 3...in Dallas on Sat 3:30Pm....Game 4...in Dallas Mon. 8:30.....
2 days of rest in between the first 3 games.
Starting off with a noon game is going to be tough. Seriously.
lol most of you morons that picked Dallas. If these were the Grizzlies we would be up 20 and resting the starters since the midway point of the 3rd.
I regret picking Memphis. I mean, I'm confident the Spurs would have won a series against them, but Memphis smells blood in the water against OKC and they look dangerous as .
That was a clear desperate jinx attempt, tbh.
Still, I do believe the Grizzlies would have been an easier out.
which is the reason why many people wanted spurs to play Dallas.
