You should start a thread about it since I cannot find anything here about the game tonight.
This is something that has been on my mind for a while, but why does it seem Kawhi is always in foul trouble?
When I see other great defenders like Tony Allen, Thabo Sefolosha, Shane Battier, etc. guard an opposing offensive player, they can be nearly face-to-face with them 24/7.
But with Kawhi, he usually has to stay a couple of inches away from his defender thus trying to use his length to contest a shot. If he initiates a good amount of contact against an offensive player, it seems to be a foul 9 times 10.
It wasn't until these past couple of nights I realized how big of a factor it is.

Kawhi could never get away with that much contact. Especially when guarding a superstar.
Has anyone else noticed this, or am I going crazy?

Eh, didn't really have to do with tonight's game specifically. I mean in general, Leonard seems to draw more fouls compared to other 'great' defenders despite initiating much less contact.
Right, you just picked a neato time to post it. No joy.
Definitely found it fitting to ask now, but it still doesn't have much to do with tonight's game alone.
