Don't see it, as driving to Anaheim from LA for a 7:30 start is a nightmare. I left one time at 4:30 for a 7:30 Angels game and still didn't make it until the middle of the first inning.

Irrelevant would mean less coverage, yet Lakers sucking gets more play than 95% of the NBA ...

- Seattle is now like LA is to the NFL, a city for owners to point to and get more taxpayer $$$, no way the owners give that leverage up
- There are enough local buyers interested to keep the team in LA
- The NBA set the precedent with the Kings that they won't move a team if a local ownership group has an equal/better offer
- It would be a PR nightmare for the NBA to take the team away from Clipper fans after we had to go through this

When the Lakers suck they still get attention for the suck ude. The franchise will never be out of the spotlight as long as they're the Lakers. It's not a heartwarming story like the Hornets were as their last year as the Bobcats, but it is a nightly concern. What is wrong with the Lakers...can they be fixed...why the f@#k is Jim running things? I don't think the team moves. I wouldn't be surprised though if Magic and Guggenheim open up their wallets. They'd control the Dodgers and Clippers. That would mean they'd be dominant in L.A. Except for the fact you'd probably wouldn't be able to watch Clipper games. Because you sure as can't watch Dodger games from the comforts of your home.
