hater trying to take credit for something everyone on here knew was about to drop.
Yeah I even said so in my "begins" thread. I said he's worth a couple billion, and after the sale and lawsuit would be closer to 4. I think the amount is because of the California law that allows a 3x damages suit to be filed if there's not a 2 party agreement when a recording is made.

Sterling might die before this legal suit is over.
That's the second best case scenario for him actually. It'll save his family a ton of money in taxes for when the Clippers are actually sold.

I don't. They're rich tbh. I'd welcome Daddy Sterling into my family just like that black/mexican mistress did.

Actually it would be a lot of fun if Sterling keeps owning the Clippers.

Imagine free agency, him trading for black players (he offically can't be involved, but really can't he?), the season ticket holders, opposing players, Dirk schooling Blake in a huge game and so on!

I am in no way supportive of Sterling, but I would think he actually has a fairly strong legal case here for the very reasons outlined in the faux article that started this thread.

Btw, does anyone else find it odd that this man's private conversation with his mistress provokes this massive response by the league and media once it somehow becomes public, but the professional football team from Washington DC has an openly racist name and everyone with the exception of a few enlightened folks in the media and in politics is pretty much ok with that? I find the disconnect puzzling.

His attorneys assured reporters that the lawsuit will be an open-and-shut case in their client’s favor, stating “No one approves of what our client said on that recording. There’s no denying that. But it was recorded in the comfort of his own home and later obtained and publicized illegally. Not to mention, the mafia tactics the league is using to try to muscle Mr. Sterling out of his rightfully owned franchise are highly illegal and even uncons utional. We have no doubt that our client will be exonerated when it is all said and done.”

They make some good points. All anyone focused on was the racist comments which is typical today but how the recording was obtained is ridiculous. That basically wore a wire on him, goaded him into an argument she knew he was passionate about and ran to the media with it.. Everything he said was horrendous but he has some legal legs to stand on here..

Unfortunately the American Indians have no representation in any platform wether its media, players union, voter prescence, or pretty much any public forum. In Amerika, its ok to be racist against tiny powerless minorities.

If sterling had said dont bring any pakistanis or north koreans to my games. It would have been business as usual.

    Welcome to Amerika.

Hearing those tools Michael Wilbon and Stephen A say the players were ready to boycott playoff games had me rolling my eyes. Players play unless there is a CBA issue with their contract. The idea that they would not play unless the league muscled Sterling out was a complete lie IMO..
