Belli suddenly being a detriment to the team is big problem moving forward tbh. If/when we move on, that is.
This random red couch commercial is the tiest commercial in history.

Now that we're seeing what beli is all about, let's ask ourselves, who would you rather have, Jefferson or beli
Parker only received 1 egregious call IMO, the phantom foul against Calderon in the 1st quarter..
This is more of a typical home-court officiating advantage than anything blatant..I counted 4-5 egregious calls in the Spurs favor, so far:
- Phantom foul on Calderon
- Blair flagrant should have been a common foul
- Mills's fake against Ellis
- Ginobili's flop against Marion
I'm probably forgetting 1 or 2..
For the Mavs:
- Diaw's foul against Dirk where he didn't touch him
- Green's deflection on the pass to Carter
I'm ignoring the calls that Dirk, Harris and Ellis received, since they have been getting those calls all series, to be fair..
forgiven, i just hope this is over for pop too..
So anxious... we all know mavs are gonna make a run.. hold on and keep pushing!!
Yes, it is.
He might get lucky against Portland. They don't have depth on that bench other than Mo Williams. Then again, someone like Dorell Wright will turn into Vince Carter in the next series.
Pop needs to be locked in a closet too, let your guys take it home. No Ayres, no Marco
Manu Ginobili is on pace for 44 points, 10 rebounds, 14 assists, and 14 steals in 48 minutes.
Anyone wanna make a craigslist ad for Marco?
if Tony keeps playing like he did in the 1st half, we will win this game...
A quick Mavs run changes everything. One more half, Spurs. Let's do this.
Can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something about Bill Simmons that really pisses me off.
People have complained all this series about the spurs not showing enough aggression and about calls going against us and not ever connecting the two things. The spurs have been the more aggressive team in the first half and have gotten a lot of foul calls go their way.
Regardless of whether NoNo thinks the calls are biased in favor of the Spurs or not, two foul calls on Splitter against Nowitzki were totally bogus calls and would not have been made in most situations. But the fouls served to break momentum (intended or not) and give a chance to the Mavs.
So far ( notice I said so far) our big three have outscored the entire Mavs team. That is not due to the refs. That is not because we have gotten any calls. It is because our big three came to play today and are all hustling more than I have seen them hustle all series, and that has paid off with some calls going their way as well.
Manu is simply brilliant so far today, and Parker's shot is out-of-this world.
The first 4 minutes of the second half are going to be big. If the Mavs make a run, watch out.
that doesn't really give the real impact.. 7 points of the "wide open dunk while jerking of" type..
I vaguely recall at least one more touch foul in favor of Parker on a subsequent drive into the lane (in addition to the phantom foul on calderon) but other than that I can't really disagree with anything you said..
I'm strangely nervous. Don't want Dallas to cut this lead to the teens early in the third and make a game of it. WE MUST start strong.
Or if Manu keeps playing like he did in the first half, we will win also. As I mentioned elsewhere, our big three outscored the entire Mavs team.
We will win or lose the game as a team as we always do.
It blows my mind every time Splitter gets called for a foul while standing straight up with his hands up.
Way to cover the bet tbh
Parker won't play that well second half and I hope that 1/3 of what Parker produced first half would be enough
2nd half keys:
- Energy
- Keep limiting transition points, that's where Ellis/Marion/Harris have been doing most of their damage in this series
- Continue to expose Dirk and Blair at defending the pick&roll
- Parker's aggression
- No Belinelli
- Danny Green on Ellis/Carter
I just know Dallas is going to cut this lead and make a close game out of this, and it will probably be at the hands of Beli and Pop.
Splitter uses his lower body extremely well. He usually gets away with bumping players, but that won't fly against a jump-shooter.
