Why in would he fake an injury game 5 when leading 3-1 with game 5 being played at home ? That's stupid.

Parker going to rip Sef. or Westbrook if really doesn't matter. Give Brazil the paper now
Because he was sucking ass out on the court.
Parker is fine before the game, hes getting shutdown by a taller defender, nothing out of the ordinary happens during the game other than him being shut down, Parker goes to the locker room. Ive seen that movie before tbh.
Chill, folks...Parker will be fine. He had some hammy tightness, that's all. A little massage and a few days off and he'll be good to go for the WCF.
You are an idiot.
He goes to the locker room because he is being shutdown?
Please someone just axe this jackass.
If Parker really did aggravate the hammy and he does not play,or plays cautiously, we are cooked.
Totally cooked. Full speed penetrate or hit the jumper, we MUST have this as a weapon.
This better be cautionary and we need OKC and Clip to go 7.
You're a ing real life re if you truly believe this. Post hoc ergo propter hoc bs
Westbrook reaches so much on D that if Parker is patient he will be getting into the paint at will. The more he can do that, the more Thabo we see which limits the RJax minutes, a positive. Also need to run pick and roll hard with whoever Ibaka is guarding.
The Spurs were never going to lose Game 5, so the moment Parker's hammy acts up they send him to the locker room for examination. By the time the training staff concludes that he'd be good to go in the event of a Game 6, the Spurs are already up double digits and so they shut him down for the night. A move not without its risks, but certainly worth avoiding further aggravating the injury. Pop's made some ballsy moves in the last few days.
In poker this would be a +EV move by Pop.
hammy tightness != torn hammy

Is this the story, or just your opinion.
Haven't seen the game yet and still dont know if its "TP should be fine", "TP may be done for the playoffs" or something in between.
The lack of information about it tells me, that it may not be that bad, but can someone confirm that or tell me whats up?
CIAPop faking TP's injury so he can rest him ASAP while the bench practices with the Blazers
His hamstring problems have been worse in the past, and Buck Harvey tweeted that he'd been told by "people who know" that Parker's injury wasn't bad and that if the Spurs had lost Game 5, Parker would have been ready for Game 6.
You can see the look of disgust in Tony's face when he's walking off the court, staring Pop down, as if there was nothing wrong. I doubt he's hurt at all, or they're building up an excuse as to why we get thrashed next round.
Remember he had the same issue against GS last year. Now he has 5 days to rest. To me its nothing big, he will get therapy during this time and will be ready for Game 1 for sure.
My concern is that once the hammy is compromised it is hard to get it back at full strength without risking further injury. Last year in the finals he was okay on his pulled hammy as long as there were several days between games. When the schedule got to every other day games is when you could see that there wasn't enough rest in between for the injury to recover, and it really started to show its effects.
Tony runs farther and faster than anyone on the basketball court as the head of our offense. Therefore, the effect of lack of rest on an injured hammy is going to be more pronounced for him than for someone like Danny Green.
Four games in 8 nights took its toll on all the players, and Tony did a split in the first quarter going after a loose ball. That is probably when the hammy got pulled. Then he stays in the game trying to figure out what he can and can't do and then gets sent to the locker room to check it out.
I believe he will be okay for the next game. My concern is for the games after that when he is not getting much rest on it. Just like last year.
Not a good example. He clearly rolled his ankle and sprained it. They even showed a replay of it.
Parker is good as done
he will come back a limp and the team up
I'm sure you know all about that.
Skip Bayless saying he thinks TP left he game last night due to "humiliation" not injury.
Skip thinks the Blazers putting Batum on TP was the cause of his leaving not injury (like others have claimed here).
SB also says the Spurs might not have won the game with TP last night (rather than Patty Mills).
For what it's worth . . .
