IMO, you gotta get what you are given in a certain game. Marco's on fire tonight then sure. Pop's not too dumb to know it'll happen every game for him to prioritize Beli over the 2 studs.
If we can just get Green and Kawhi going. Cut the turnovers down and play high-energy defense.
There were really some sloppy plays and matador defense in the 1st half. Hopefully they clean it up in the 2nd half, and avoid their usual 3rd quarter meltdown.
Kawhi is playing bad, kinda like Game 1 of the playoffs against Dallas. He needs to get his head out of his ass and stop being timid out there. He's gotta be TOUGHER AND STRONGER OUT THERE.
A pretty evenly matched first half so far. Both team feeling each other out not really establishing much. I like how Manu saw how the tempo of the game needed a punch and he did just that. Miami will key in on Manu the second half so it will be interesting to see how we adjust.
The bad thing is, the Heat have played terrible..
Pop making sure Leonard doesn't get a 3rd foul in the waning moments. TP may not be doing well with his injury.
The A/C being down isnt a small deal. That place is always hot as when I first get into the arena. Once the game starts, you can feel the A/C come on and then everythings good. But when it's off, you can really feel it..

To be fair with Pop, Kawhi had 2 early fouls. Didn't want him to commit one at the end of the 2nd quarter.

Kawhi and Green not getting involved in worrisome for both the Spurs and Heat, tbh.
Spurs ain't playing up to par either, many stupid turnovers so far.
Parker has made a couple of baskets and a big 3.
But, his dribbling is killing us.
To Be fair to Danny, both end of the quarter shots were hurried by the clock. If one or both goes, the Heat begin to wilt.
Heat hanging around on the road. That said, we're up despite all those turn overs.
The Spurs haven't been all that great either. A lot of turnovers.
