How can you Max KL when you haven't maxed TD, TP or MG, if he is a Spur he will take less. More than Splitter but NOT max money.
I agree that a great performance in this series would catapult Leonard into max territory. Thusly, I agree that he's costing himself money by playing at a below-average level. His hype is certainly not going to be helped if Green is relegated to the bench, since Kawhi already gets most of the credit from Danny's success (in addition to his own, well-earned accolades).

Kawhi will stay a Spur but never be this all-star player people like to make him out to be, he'll maybe make one all-star game but that's it... Solid second option by the time Duncan and Manu retire.
