Spurs fans trying to deny the inevitable like Magic Johnson in that waiting room hoping his T-cell count was just off due to a bad cold
ara why u being such a gyot
You know I'd love to see Kang lose, but Im dissapointed in Spurs. They choked, they HAD to win today. I was telling my friend if they dont its over, and hes a Spur fan and said its prolly over as well because Miami doesnt lose at home. Even up 2-0 this was a game 5 type series, now its gonna be over in 6
and if the spurs take one of the next two?
Shocker a Lakerfan who is bipolar in who to support for this series. Lets be real here after every spurs loss you are going to masturbate to the thought of Duncan not getting 5 and after every Heat loss your going to masturbate at the thought of Lebron not getting a 3 peat that will put him ahead of Kobe.
It's over for sure if they don't win one in Miami, but it's certainly doable to do that. Don't clown on us that bad. Only Spur fans can be so down on the team this early tbh...
it was over the moment enriques eyes light up for the finals, another chance another opportunity to win fmvp or nothing at all
just like 07 all over again, didnt do all season + playoffs, then in the finals suddenly appears just to steal fmvp
Spurs are going to win one of the next two games, no need to blow your loads already
Jesus, why is everyone so confused here? I am rooting and hoping Spurs win. The series however is done, Spurs best chance was to not lose at home even once. They were getting ass pounded in game 1 and Christ granted them a gift with the cramping. Today was a true test and they choked, I expect them to lose the series. In fact, just about everyone outside of Spurs fan base knows whats happening.
I know its so hard to accept man, Im sorry, its like shooting a baby in the face but I gotta be frank with you its over.
dunno why they the asslickers still sugarcoating g2 loss, when its transparent the person involve is gettin no criticism for his hero ball....
what would it take for these clowns to wake up? another finals loss?
why did the spurs stop running plays, especially the high pick which is their bread and butter, but settle for iso ball and dribbling down the time for a last second miracle shot...
If the players involve dont believe in the system or ball movement, they gtfo of the court, especially that enrique fella who was hoping some guy to bail out his poor decision making and execution...
The thing is Spurs just dont have that GO TO guy at the end of games. Parker was that guy but they dont have a play maker, they have a great team. You dont need a superstar, just a Paul Pierce type guy to go to at the end of games. Spurs dont have that, Lebron is that guy for Miami as well as Wade, so these close games are going to amount to losses.
TBH with you its hard for me to believe that you are truly rooting for the spurs to win in your heart. The spurs have been a rival of the Lakers for years. Basically its hard to turn off that intense hatred that has built up from that rivalry over the years. In this series your basically pulling for a hated rival to take out a hated en y. I just can't see how the old hatred doesn't comeback for the spurs when they lose. This is equivalent to an old school racist having to pick between supporting Latinos or Blacks. Also its stupid to say the series is over. If The spurs are down 3-1 after 4 games then go ahead and scream it.
parker was never the guy u will live and die on teh line with, his not the goto guy u can rely on cause dude has no fkn jump shot and afraid break down the wall every time the same tactic is used against him since day 1....
ginoboli use to be the goto guy, but u have a higher chance of him ing up a play then actually making one...
should just give it to duncan, live and die with the great one, instead of relying on some m idget ballhog
there are teams and fanbases who accept tosb leading their teams to nowhere as long they get their moneys worth, enrique doesnt give u any of that....
would u rather pay to go watch duncan chuck every possession while his still in the league win/loss is not important, entertainment value for ur money is more important, or do you enjoy watchin a midget ballhog?
Can't argue with this. You can't post Duncan because he'll get swarmed and have to pass out. Manu is too old and untrustworthy, and the Heat can just put Lebron on Parker.
Some silver lining is that it took the greatest ever shooting performance by a wing player against the Spurs (Lebron's .636 mark is the highest a wing player taking at least 10 shots has ever shot against the Spurs in the playoffs), the Spurs are still deeper and bigger and should control the boards throughout the series (Spurs won the o-board battle 11-5), and Rashard Lewis has to turn back to Rashard Lewis at some point.
Big worries are Wade has yet to make his mark and the Spurs role players are inconsistent on the road, as is Manu. I'm also waiting for Duncan's bad game. He has one of those 4-12 type games at least once every series.
1. duncan had no problem abusing the okc bigs when he posted up, out through 2 games ive watch duncan had good position down low locking up his man only to see the ball handler afraid to make the pass to him, or not passing at all
2. the only chance of duncan having a bad game is enrique not passing it to him enough or just not passing to anyone at all, if he does it be in a position setup to make them fail...
3. if enrique continues to a on the floor, might as well replace him with cory who is waiting for his chance, he has no problem deferring every possession and playing solid defense making the heat go earn those points...
I used to ing despise the Spurs. When I was about 20 I remember being genuinely nervous about the match ups. It would keep me up at nights because I knew everything had to be PERFECT against the Spurs. I think the reason I'm ok with seeing them win now is because Lebron is much more of a threat to Kobe than Duncan. Kobe V Duncan has never really been a rivalry, its like hyping up MJ V Hakim. It just wasnt there. Lebron V Kobe is real, and Lebron looks like he will surpass him at this pace.
Honestly Mid, Spurs need a miraculous game 3 win. Talking 0.4 stuff or else this series is sealed. I really hope I'm wrong, but its like the championship teams always find a way to win those must win scenarios. Today was a must win for both teams, and we saw who won.
Are you re ed? Parker, Ginobili, Diaw, even Duncan. Their team is filled with playmakers... that's why they're a great team..
lol why. why can't they just have a regular win.
it wasn't a must win for either team. if the spurs won, they'd just be holding serve. miami won and its a tied series.Today was a must win for both teams, and we saw who won.
parker a playmaker? hahahahahahahahahaah, explain why duncan only had 1fga in the 2nd half game 1, explain why gm2 4th quarter he didnt didnt receive the ball to attempt a fg?
I wouldn't worry about Lebron vs. Kobe anymore. Lebron has already surpassed him (unless we can somehow get him to choke in epic fashion).
And no, this isn't me in my Kobe hating form. Kobe is in my top 10. He's the most versatile scorer the game has seen, with impeccable footwork and great work ethic. His game has flaws and he's overrated in some aspects (clutch, defense), but Kobe is an all-time great.
But Lebron is like taking Shaq's physical dominance and giving it wide receiver speed and a 38" vertical. Add in Lebron's passing, rebounding, and now polished jumper, and you have the most complete player basketball has ever seen. This is a wing player who is averaging 56% shooting in the playoffs and just drilled the most versatile wing defense in the NBA for 35 on 63%.
I'm not fanboying it up ala CN, either. Just calling it as I see it. I have no idea how to stop this guy. This isn't 2011 Lebron, where his jumper was still a little shaky and he hadn't really gelled with Miami's team yet.
He's on another level right now.
Just have to hope he chokes. No defensive scheme can handle him.
lebron is playing fantastic, but the spurs were in position to go up 2-0 despite that. one man won't beat the spurs if they're playing well, even if its lebron
built like a tank who resorts to flopping?
