Mills reminds me a lot of Nate Robinson, a calmer version lol. He comes into the game with a ton of energy and he's a shooter with no conscience. The Spurs need that when their team gets in that mode of over-passing.
He has openly admitted it's a schtick, tbh...let it go imo

he is a very different player stlyle to tony parker. tony parker is slow calm and composed, less passing with starters, but when bench come with patty the whole pace change, its more uptempo, faster and killer 3s! i think that dynamic fks other teams up tbh1!!!!!
are you his fluffer? I'm ing with him.
Nah. Just stating the obvious.
He's ight. Call me when he dunks on the best shot blocker in the NBA.![]()
GO PATTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Transition TWO HAND JAM, you mean![]()
Such hustle, much energy, wow...
![]()
Patty should have played in the Finals last year tbh (before his injury)... He was always skilled, but he took it to another level this year.
It was an AWESOME TWO HAND JAM WHITE CHOCOLATE IS REAL AT 36, 46 AND EVEN 96 YEARS OLD!
Manu was boosted by Patty and his fricking thunderstrike energy mojo.
My Ginobili just doin' the voodoo he do so well! Had to dunk it to dust the flour off the ball that the Baker's Man put on it with dat hustle![]()
He can dunk, but Pop told him if he ever tried to do it in the NBA he would never get on the court again.
When Tony ran out of ideas started to lose the ball/dumb shots in the paint so Pop took him out, the result was a different rhythm between Patty and Manu our Spurs sustained the lead, so even without scoring much Patty was very valuable tonight.
I've been on the Mills bandwagon from day 1. Wish he'd gotten more burn last year, but he wasn't ready. He is just a flat baller. Love that guy.
#BakersMan
my mistake, Manu going hard like he 27 again.
As mentioned, that multiple effort, stepping in front of LeBron, reacting to the loose ball and tipping to Manu will be a play I remember forever if the Spurs win the series. That was absolutely sensational.
His shots that he missed looked pretty good as well.
Have the Heat anyone with Mills' desire to chase every loose ball ???
Fans chasing the Exits!
This. Those Bucks are ALWAYS stealing our guys... Boozer, Neal
Roberto with the goods . . .
he's having a good year. The difference is in part to what he is doing when he is NOT getting the ball - the defensive effort and movement without the ball. Confidence always helps too.
It looks like Patty has finally gotten over himself
He's shooting fearlessly and being a real pest on D. Exactly what's expected from a roleplayer in the playoffs.
