Nice that there is plenty of time to walk to the Dome after the parade.
A suggestion for ST people: I've always stood on the stretch of the river along Market St. It's more crowded there but you get to see them go by twice. In the map it's the little tail piece that ends at the convention center, lower right hand, parallel to Commerce St. Then you can hurry over to the Alamodome.
Prolly will just go to the parade since I work DT and get off around 4:30. Idk about the dome however.
Will it be streamed live?
that's eastern or central time?
the park and ride is that only at the at&t center or also crossroads?

Last thing we need is for outsiders to log onto spurstalk and start to think the posters on this site are what all spurs fans represent. There's a lot more awful fans than true fans on this board... most of which have disappeared for the time being (hopefully forever).
It might rain, but I don't think that'll stop the river parade. I'm keeping an eye on the weather either way.

i'm going to watch on TV from dallas. I was going to go, but had an important work meeting I couldn't miss. My sister drove to SA with her cousins though and said that the news this morning said there is already no parking at the Alamodome? I'm just trying to help her at this point, but that seems crazy that the wouldn't be able to park.
Actual Alamodome parking is reserved for people with permits for most events (season ticket holders in this case). It's not hard to find ~$10 parking within walking distance though.
thanks for the heads up. I'll let her know. They were thinking of not going down there if there was not any parking. I told her that didn't seem right to me and would be a waste if they didn't at least make an effort at this point

Does anybody know if there will be a link to it later? I'd like to watch but it'll be 3 AM to 9 AM here and I got an important meeting tomorrow.

My Dvr guide lists the programming airing from 6-10 PM CST on NBA TV.
In the program description, the Alamodome ceremony is listed as being covered along with the parade.
Anybody know a great spot to watch the parade along the river?
