This thread will probably be more useful than the Anderson one. We can probably start collecting highlights and stats here. Does anyone know when we can realistically expect to see this guy stateside?

Taking a shot in the dark but probably 2 to 3 years.
How does a 20 year old grow over 2 inches in a year? He's 21 now and grew that much over the last year.... ????? Will HGH do that at that age?
Not everyone stops growing at the same time. Some guys can guy into their 20s.
David Robinson grew 6 inches while in college. I love when basketball players have late growth spurts, it means they've been playing more skilled positions before getting bigger.
It's not out of the question that he could join the Spurs in 2015. That would be his age-22 season, and the Spurs could be looking at an overhaul of their shooting guard position with Ginobili potentially (likely?) retiring, and both Green and Belinelli becoming free agents.
He'll have a look probably next season in Summer League. He has to get a jump shot though.
i have no clue what his game is like. what are his pros/cons? any comparisons to modern nba players?
Bigger Tony Allen? Sounds like it. Athletic, defensive-minded, can finish but can't shoot.
The Serbian Viktor Sanikidze.
Don't know about his outside shot but that kid better learn to use his left hand and to go left.
I think it's interesting the spurs actually traded up to get him.
Here are the full games videos of his last 5 Adriatic League games (actually, 5 of his last 7, two of them isn't on the official site's videos for whatever reason).
CLICK - 03-31 - 26 minutes, 12 pts (57% fg, 2/3 3pt), 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 turnover

Highlight package from this years EuroCamp. He shows some decent ball handling skills and ability to finish in traffic.
Realistically, never.
The fact that the Spurs traded up to get him means they see something. He obviously has to improve his shooting, but I like the kid's attack and finish. I'd give him three years to prove out.

Zaragoza plays in the ACB and Eurocup next season and it also happens to employ Viktor Sanikidze. It would be a good step up from the Adriatic League.
Guys growth plates don't close until they are 25. David Robinson grew 6" while at the Naval Academy.

Rytas plays in the Eurocup and VTB United League in addition to the domestic league. They also lost a couple of experienced players, so he should be able to get lots of playing time.
Edit: False alarm:
That is his agent.

I hear his salary will be in the 25,000$ range...

He will play for Belgrade's Red Star next season. Also, was cut from Serbian NT preparations due to some kind of knee injury.
What a shock, this never happens to draft and stashers. Good thing the spurs have Bertans and LJC healing up in the pipeline. And Daye coming off a beastly summer league.
