but still each year there is only 3-4 real contenders and the blazers like the rest of the other teams are just making up the n umbers, aldridge should just go for the money

Makes more sense now. The Blazers better make some noise this post-season. People can act like they're on the rise as much as they want, but if they don't add some good players, they may well fall a couple of rungs down the West ladder.

He's not yet superstar caliber imho. He is good but his impact is too dependent on matchups I think, against certain type of bigs he is a beast, but against other types he would more often than not the bed and suck plain asses imho.
